ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to know the influences of economic growth and total population on human development index in Simalungun district. The data used in this research is secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for 20 years from 2001 – 2020. The data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression. The result of the research showed that (1) The variable of economic growth had a negative effect on the human development index. (2) The variable of total population had a negative effect on the human development index. The study is influence at recognizing the impact of population size, minimum wage and GRDP on theparticipation rate of the labor force in the Northern Sumatra Province. The data used in this study isa combination of the time series and cross section at 2017-2021. The data obtained in this study isfrom the statistical center (BPS) of 30 Districts/Northern Sumatera Province. The best model chosenin this study is the Random Effect Model (REM). Partially population and Gross Regional DomesticProduct (GRDP) positive and significant effect on the level of labor force participation rate, minimumwage has positive and no significant impact on the labor force participation rate. PENGARUH DESENTRALISASI FISKAL, PENGANGGURAN DAN INDEKS PEMBANGUNAN MANUSIA (IPM), TERHADAP DISPARITAS PENDAPATAN REGIONAL DI PROVINSI ACEH

The study aims to analyze fiscal decentralization, unemployment and the human development index against regional income disparity in the province of Aceh. The data used in this study is the time series and section cross 2017-2021 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of 23 Regencies/ Cities of Aceh province. This research uses a panel data regression analysis method with a Random Effect Model (REM) approach. The results of the partial analysis in this study state that DAU has a negative and significant effect on income disparities, DAK and Unemployment has a positive and significant effect on income disparities, DBH has no and insignificant effect on incomedisparities, and HDI has a negative and insignificant effect on income disparities

ANALISIS KONDISI SOSIAL EKONOMI DAN PEMBERDAYAAN EKONOMI TERHADAP TINGKAT KESEJAHTERAAN KELUARGA DI KECAMATAN GANDAPURA KABUPATEN BIREUEN

This study examined the influence of income, the number of family members, education, and economic empowerment on the level of family welfare in the Gandapura subdistrict. The data analysis method used was Multiple Linear Regression with the help of SPSS with the acquisition of data from the distribution of questionnaires with a total of 100 respondents. The results of multiple linear regression analysis indicated that income affects the level of family welfare, the number of family members affects the level of family welfare, and education affects the level of family welfare. The results accepted Ha and rejected H0, which means that simultaneously, income, number of family members, education, and economic empowerment significantly affect the level of family welfare in the Gandapura subdistrict
