This topic is focused on student grievances. Every student has its own problems and pressures at school. SDA schools should have at least a proper education on educating teachers to show that they really care and train the students to love Jesus. They need fair judgment to help students boost their self-esteem. Students must felt that somebody looks after them when they are in trouble or in difficulties. In the school, they could have at least leaders or a committee to approach when students are in need emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Like in the book of Matthew chapter 18, there are only two things God has emphasized which are love and humbleness. These are the things we should inculcate and practice in our school. There’s a large need for cooperation and openness between teachers and students in school. Whereas non-Adventists could appreciate and realized that SDA schools are not only promoting a high standard of education but also preparing the students for heaven

Pemuridan adalah merupakan tugas yang harus dilakukan oleh semua pengikutKristus seperti yang diperintahkan-Nya kepada para murid-Nya dalam Matius28:19-20 sebelum Dia naik ke Surga. Pekerjaan untuk menjadikan orangmenjadi murid Kristus atau pemuridan adalah merupakan suatu keharusan,sebab hal ini adalah merupakan cara terbaik untuk mengabarkan injil keseluruh dunia, agar dengan demikian Kristus boleh datang ke dunia sepertiyang disebutkan dalam Matiius 24:14. Selain Kristus,rasul Paulus adalahmerupakan teladan yang baik dan yang perlu diikuti dalam melakukanpemuridan. Prinsip-prinsip dan dasar-dasar pemuridan Paulus perlu dipahamiagar para pemimpin gereja dapat melakukan pemuridan dengan baik. Agarsetiap umat Tuhan dapat melakukan penginjilan dan menjadikan orang menjadimurid Kristus, prinsip-prinsip dan prosedur pemuridan Paulus perlu diketahui

Penggunaan Metode Simulasi untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen

This classroom action research discusses efforts to improve student learning outcomes through the use of discussion methods. The problem in this study is that the PAK learning process in class VII rarely or less uses the simulation method. This causes various problems in the classroom, including: lack of interest in student learning, low student learning outcomes. The benefit of this research is that it can find various obstacles as well as solutions, regarding the use of the simulation method as an effort to improve PAK learning outcomes while motivating teachers to be skilled in choosing and using methods in learning to attract students' interest in learning. The results showed that by using the simulation method there was a change in students, namely students became interested, and active and motivated so as to improve student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that teachers in teaching must be able to determine and use appropriate method

Tradisi Sapatu Linongkawit di Desa Tandengan Analisis Teologis Berdasarkan 1 Korintus 9:19-22

AbstrakTujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengangkat nilai perdamaian dalam masyarakat Minahasa yang memiliki disparitas opini antara budayawan dan agamawan di Minahasa khususnya di desa Tandengan yaitu dalam meletakkan posisi sepatu di dalam peti jenazah dari seorang yang telah meninggal. Untuk mencapai tujuan itu, penelitian ini mengunakan metode kualitatif analisis deskriptif fenomenologi terhadap tradisi sapatu linongkawit melalui pendekatan etnografi dan melalui pendekatan historical-kontekstual terhadap pengkhotbah 9:5b untuk memahami dasar pemikiran yang berbeda dari dua kelompok ini sekaligus untuk mencari titik temu antara keduanya sebagai upaya mewujudkan perdamaian antara budaya dan agama/dokmatika dalam masyarakat Minahasa. Titik temu yang diperoleh merupakan kebaruan dalam artikel ini yatiu bahwa rasa kemanusiaan dalam membangun hubungan sosial di antara sesama manusia menempati prioritas pertama dalam hati setiap orang dan perlu bersikap sosial yang positif dalam berinteraksi dengan sesama, selain itu tradisi ini menarik juga karena mengandung nilai kekeluargaan yang berbanding lurus dengan ajaran agama juga memiliki nilai budaya wisata yang bisa menambah income desa.

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami konsep yang benar mengenai keterlibatan pelayanan ibadah, untuk memahami konsep yang benar mengenai keterlibatan dalam penginjilan dan untuk pemahaman pengaruh keterlibatan dalam pelayanan ibadah serta penginjilan terhadap pertumbuhan gereja, maka penulis ingin melakukan sebuah penelitian untuk mendapatkan jawaban atas permasalahan di atas. Untuk mendapatkan penjelasan yang lengkap maka penulis menggunakan metode penilitan kualitatif dan menggunakan studi literatur dari berbagai daftar Pustaka baik buku-buku maupun jurnal serta di dukung dengan ayat-ayat alkitab sehingga mendapat pemahaman yang lengkap. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut disimpulkan masih banyak anggota jemaat di sebuah gereja belum memahami keberadaan sebagai seorang Kristen yang harus terlibat dalam pelayanan ibadah maupun penginjilan sehingga iman kekristenan dan keanggotaan gereja dapat bertumbuh seperti yang terjadi kepada jemaat mula-mula dalam kitab Kisah Para Rasul. Untuk itu dengan pemahaman yang lebih baik maka akan lebih banya yang terlibat dalam pelayanan ibadah dan penginjilan di Gereja

The purpose of this study is that everyone is involved in implementing the Great Commission of Jesus Christ so that church growth occurs. The harvest is a lot but the workers are few, this is the Word of our Lord Jesus Christ. To produce a harvest of souls that are won for Christ, the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 must be carried out namely “Go” (Preach) and Make disciples (Discipleship). Evangelism is the first step as a disciple. And being a disciple is an activity that aims to motivate and train spiritually mature believers to devote themselves wholeheartedly to God in order to become disciples. Evangelism and discipleship are one and cannot be separated. Evangelism is the first step as a disciple. If every church and its members carry out this great commission well, it will bring many people to come to Christ and this has an impact on the growth of the church. The book of Matthew was originally addressed to early Christians but God's Word is still relevant in every age, because the essence of the Word always directs everyone to believe Jesus is the savior of mankind. This study uses a qualitative method, by collecting data and information from various library sources such as the Bible, spiritual books and journals which are concluded and used in this research so as to lead everyone to carry out the Great Commission so that the church can grow well

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah agar setiap orang Kristen memahami keberadaan Yesus Kristus sebagai Mesias atau Juruselamat, denga napa yang dituliskan pada Kitab Matius. Melalui kitab Matius 1:1 dipaparkan mengenai silsilah Yesus Kristus sebagai anak Daud dan Anak Abraham. Sepintas seakan-akan itu hanya sebuah informasi bagi setiap pembaca, namun di dalamnya ada makna teologis dan historical mengenai silsilah tersebut. Kitab Matius pada zamannya ditujukan kepada orang Yahudi. Pemaparan mengenai silsilah Yesus kristus dalam Kitab Matius sangat penting bagi orang Yahudi, untuk mengetahui keakuratan asal usul Yesus dan Apakah Yesus layak untuk dihormati atau mendapat tempat bagi orang Yahudi. Pada zaman Kristen modern dan Yahudi hal ini penting untuk mengetahui apakah benar Yesus adalah Mesias yang dijanjikan dalam perjanjian Daud dan Abraham, sehingga menolak keraguan kemesiasan Yesus sebagai Raja alam semesta dan tempat keimanan kita digantungkan. The Meaning and Purpose of “The First Day of The Week” in 1 Cor 16:1-4

For centuries, the word "κατα μιαν σαββατων’ " which meaning "first day of the week" in 1 Corinthians 16:2, has been a contentious term in Christianity. Many Christian scholars have accepted the phrase "first day of the week" as proof that early Christians observed Sunday as a day of worship. On the other hand, due to the context of the text, some scholars consider that this statement does allude to retaining Sunday as a day of worship, but for a different reason. As a result, the study's goal is to figure out what day early Christians worshiped and what it means today. In order to comprehend the meaning of the phrase "κατα μιαν σαββατων" and avoid misunderstanding among Christians, the author attempted to analyze the meaning and intent of that phrase through research. The meaning of each Greek word in the texts, the grammatical and syntactical structure of the texts, the broader context of the problematic phrase, and the use of extra Biblical study. The finding of the study shows that that the meaning of "first day of the week" refers to Sunday as the first day of the week, since in Greek Sabbath also means a week. However, the language of 1 Corinthians 16:2 does not mention worship; rather, it instructs members to lay aside an amount for the Jerusalem collection on the first day of the week at home

Based on the analysis of the text of 1 Tim 3:5 the author emphasizes the importance of a church leader who is proven to be responsible for household affairs, namely being able to manage his own house and meet the needs of family members.
