Entre Nietzsche e Dostoiévski : modernidade e niilismo

Defesa : Curitiba, 06/09/2022Inclui referênciasResumo: Esta tese busca analisar a relação entre Nietzsche e Dostoiévski a partir de dois princípios considerados fundamentais: a crítica à modernidade e o otimismo racionalista que sustentou o ideal de progresso. A partir desses princípios, foi possível oferecer segurança na análise de uma relação que nem sempre é amistosa, isto é, conforme a tese sustenta, existem não apenas convergências, mas também divergências de posicionamento entre os autores - o cristianismo é um exemplo bastante claro. Na tese é observado que ambos suspeitam do otimismo racional desenvolvido na modernidade, percebendo ali não a salvação da humanidade, mas sua possível destruição. Por esse motivo, é fundamental compreender como Nietzsche e Dostoiévski observaram esse período, que na verdade é também uma espécie de fenômeno social que influenciaria em época subsequentes. Na tese é sustentado que o racionalismo exacerbado da modernidade acarretou no niilismo, que, por sua vez, se tornou uma característica das sociedades modernas determinante para a condição psíquica dos indivíduos. Dessa forma, Nietzsche e Dostoiévski analisam a relação entre social e psique para tornar possível a compreensão das transformações sociais e os erros cometidos pelos "esclarecidos" de sua época. O trabalho visa salientar, por fim, que esse tipo de análise torna perceptíveis os encontros e desencontros entre os autores, sem perder de vista a importância dessa relação para o debate filosófico contemporâneo.Abstract: This thesis seeks to analyse the relationship between Nietzsche and Dostoevsky from two fundamental criteria: the critique of modernity and the optimistic rationalism that sustained the ideal of progress. From this principles, it was possible to provide certainty in the analysis of a relationship that is not always friendly, that is, according to the thesis's assumption, there are not only convergences, but also divergences when the authors take a stand on some issues - the cristianity is a very well example. In the thesis is noted that both, Nietzsche and Dostoevsky, raise doubt about the optimistic rationalism developed in modernity, and noticed it woul not bring salvation, but its possible destrutcion. Because of that, it is necessary to comprehend how Nietzsche and Dostoevsky had observed that period, wich, as matther of fact, is also a kind of social phenomenon would influence the following times. The thesis supports that the exacerbated rationalism has brought the nihilism, and the nihilism, in turn, has become a modern societies' characteristic that would affect the men in a pyschological way. Thus, Nietzsche and Dostoevsky analyze the relation between the social and the pysche to make possible the understanding of the social changes and the mistakes of the "enlighted" of their era. Finally, the text aim to underline that this type of analysis makes noticiable the agreements and disagreements between the authors, without losing sight of the significance of this relationship to the contemporary philosophical debate
