    Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui seks rasio tukik penyu Hijau (Chelonia mydas L) yang dihasilkan dari penetasan alami dan non-alami di pantai Sukamade kabupaten Banyuwangi. Sampel yang dipakai adalah tukik berumur 1,5 bulan yang berasal dari sarang penetasan (5 sarang telur). Jumlah sampel tukik adalah 40 ekor yang diambil secara acak. Terdiri dari 20 ekor dari penetasan alami dan 20 ekor dari penetasan non-alami, selanjutnya tukik diambil organ gonadnya untuk dibuat preparat Histologi dengan pengecatan Harris-haematoksilineosin (H&E) untuk mengetahui penentu jenis kelamin. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa seks rasio pada penetasan alami terdeteksi jantan = 0, betina = 8, dan tidak dapat ditentukan jenis kelaminnya = 12. Untuk penetasan non-alami terdeteksi jantan = 13, betina = 0, dan tidak dapat ditentukan jenis kelaminnya = 7. Temperatur pada sarang penetasan mempunyai peranan penting dalam penetuan jenis kelamin, rerata temperatur yang ditujukkan pada data logger untuk penetasan alami adalah 31,79 0C dan penetasan non-alami adalah 27,30 0

    Menarche merupakan menstruasi yang pertama kali dialami wanita, dimana secara fisik ditandai dengan keluarnya darah dari vagina akibat peluruhan lapisan endometrium. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor–faktor apa saja yang berhubungan dengan kejadian menarche pada siswi di SMP 31 Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu study korelasi dengan metode pendekatan cross sectional study. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 176 sisi yang terdiri dari kelas VII,VIII dan IX. Data dianalisa dengan uji korelasi rank spearman.Ada hubungan antara status menarche ibu (genetik), keterpaparan media massa, gaya hidup, nutrisi, status gizi dengan kejadian menarche siswi di SMPN 31 Semarang, dinyatakan dengan p value 0,000 11-15 tahu

    Sex ratio is highly dependent on incubation temperature. The optimum temperature of 28 ° C - 30 ° C can result in sex ratio 1: 1. The high temperature will be produced predominantly female hatchlings, and vice versa. The incubation temperatures influenced by some environmental factors such as rainfall, air temperature, air humidity, sand temperature, sand humidity, sand type and vegetation. This research carried out at the Sukamade beach - East Java, Sangalaki island - East Kalimantan and Jamursba Medi beach - West Papua. Results showed the unbalanced sex ratio of sea turtle hatchlings in each of study area. The Sukamade beach generated 75% of male hatchlings in nests under vegetation, 100% female hatchlings in the nest on open beaches, and 87.5% male hatchlings in the hatchery. While the sex ratio of hatchlings produced on Sangalaki island are 100% male in nests under vegetation, 72.22% male hatchlings in the nest on open beaches and 94.44% male hatchlings in the hatchery. On the Jamursba Medi beach produced 90.9% male hatchlings from nests on open beaches. Based on correlation analysis, a significant correlation showed between sex ratio and incubation temperature with significance of 0.01. While there is no significance correlation showed between sex ratios by environmental factors, with significance of 0.942 for the air temperature variable, 0.340 for the air humidity, 0292 for amount of the rainfall, 0799 for the sand fraction, and 0.331 for the sand humidity. All of these significance are greater than 0.05

    Indonesia has a huge, biological resources as a plant which can be used as a pesticide natural mahogany. The plant pesticide vegetable is pesticide, plant are based with the active ingredient and control of organism. Obstacles in cultivation of plant peanuts is Spodoptera litura F. pest attacks. Which result in a decrease in productivity and seeds being broken. The  purpose of  this  evaluation  to  understand  the  influence  of  extract mahogany leaves and  intensity of attacks against the  percentage caterpillar  in plants peanut , to know intervals of time the application of appropriate to reduce the percentage of and intensity of pest attacks , and to know the influence of the interaction of concentration and intervals of time application extract mahogany leaves. This research in a random complete the group consisting of two factors.The first concentration extract leaves mahogany and the second factor intervals of time application .But the research referred to as follows 1 ) the first , the extract leaves mahogany (A) : A0: 0 % (control),  A1 : 8% , A2 : 10%, A3: 12% , 2) factors second , the time interval application (B): B1: every day once upon 3 , B2 : every day once upon 5, B3 : every day once upon 7. Every treatment repeated 3 times. The results of the study show concentration extract leaves mahogany to reduce caterpillar grayak pest  attacks   .Extract  leaves  mahogany with  intervals of time the application  had an influence on the percentage and intensity of pest attacks caterpillar and influential on the parameter the  results  of  .The  percentage  of  highest  attack  A0B3   38,05  %  the  lowest percentage A3B1  3,91 % as much as . For the intensity of the attack highest A0B3 25,77 % and the lowest A3B1 13,76 % as much as .The results of fresh pods peanut the highest A3B1  (6,0608 t /ha) and the lowest A1B3  with the results of (0,5431 t /ha)
