Evaluation of the Act concerning the provision of amenities for the handicapped (WVG) dated 1994 as implemented on the municipal level. Both qualitative and quantitative data were gathered. Op verzoek van het ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport (VWS) voert het Sociaal en Cultureel Planbureau sinds 1998 onderzoek uit naar het jeugdbeleid in Nederlandse gemeenten, als onderdeel van het onderzoek Lokaal Sociaal Beleid (LSB). De rapportage heeft enerzijds het doel het lokale jeugdbeleid te volgen (monitorfunctie) en anderzijds te komen tot een evaluatie van het beleid. Bij dit laatste doel gaat het om de relatie tussen het gevoerde beleid en de uitkomsten van het beleid. Belangrijke vragen in dit onderzoek zijn, hoe gemeenten hun jeugdbeleid inhoud en vorm geven, en hoe deze aspecten samenhangen met resultaten die geboekt worden. In de vragenlijsten gaat het vooral om de inhoud en vormgeving van beleid
