    This research investigates Ignasius Jonan under his leadership as a President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia start from 2009 until 2014. The success of Ignasius Jonan in making a change in PT Kereta Api Indonesia is an interesting topic to research. The purpose of this research is to investigate and examine the opinions and responses of the subordinates about Ignasius Jonan under his leadership as a President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia. This qualitative research method was established through the descriptive approach. The main subject of this study is the opinion and the response of Ignasius Jonan’s employees under his leadership as a President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia. Five respondents on top, middle, and bottom management were interviewed to get the main sources of information through a purposive sampling approach. The results of this research showed that the success of Jonan in making a change in PT Kereta Api Indonesia management is finally able to change the employees’ mindset and behavior. Jonan’s leadership consciously encourage the employees in following the policy and making the progress to the company in line with the company’s own vision. During the changing process though, a lot of pressure and discomfort were experienced by the employees, they could survive and support all of the changing process in the company. Jonan was capable of articulating the vision and inspiring the team. Moreover, Jonan could enhance the employees’ welfare.
