On correlation functions of integrable models associated to the six-vertex R-matrix
We derive an analog of the master equation obtained recently for correlation
functions of the XXZ chain for a wide class of quantum integrable systems
described by the R-matrix of the six-vertex model, including in particular
continuum models. This generalized master equation allows us to obtain multiple
integral representations for the correlation functions of these models. We
apply this method to derive the density-density correlation functions of the
quantum non-linear Schrodinger model.Comment: 21 page
Casimir invariants and characteristic identities for
A full set of (higher order) Casimir invariants for the Lie algebra
is constructed and shown to be well defined in the category
generated by the highest weight (unitarizable) irreducible
representations with only a finite number of non-zero weight components.
Moreover the eigenvalues of these Casimir invariants are determined explicitly
in terms of the highest weight. Characteristic identities satisfied by certain
(infinite) matrices with entries from are also determined and
generalize those previously obtained for by Bracken and Green.Comment: 10 pages, PlainTe
Phenomenology of Neutrino Mass Matrix
The search for possible mixing patterns of charged leptons and neutrinos is
important to get clues of the origin of nearly maximal mixings, since there are
some preferred bases of the lepton mass matrices given by underlying theories.
We systematically examine the mixing patterns which could lead to large lepton
mixing angles. We find out 37 mixing patterns are consistent with experimental
data if taking into account phase factors in the mixing matrices. Only 6
patterns of them can explain the observed data without any tuning of
parameters, while the others need particular choices for phase values.Comment: revised reference
Evidence for multiband superconductivity in the heavy fermion compound UNi2Al3
Epitaxial thin films of the heavy fermion superconductor UNi2Al3 with
Tc{max}=0.98K were investigated. The transition temperature Tc depends on the
current direction which can be related to superconducting gaps opening at
different temperatures. Also the influence of the magnetic ordering at TN=5K on
R(T) is strongly anisotropic indicating different coupling between the magnetic
moments and itinerant charge carriers on the multi-sheeted Fermi surface. The
upper critical field Hc2(T) suggests an unconventional spin-singlet
superconducting state.Comment: 4 pages, 6 figures revised version: inset of fig. 2 changed, fig. 3

Symmetric Linear Backlund Transformation for Discrete BKP and DKP equation
Proper lattices for the discrete BKP and the discrete DKP equaitons are
determined. Linear B\"acklund transformation equations for the discrete BKP and
the DKP equations are constructed, which possesses the lattice symmetries and
generate auto-B\"acklund transformationsComment: 18 pages,3 figure
Thermal Conductivity of the Quasi One-Dimensional Spin System Sr_2_V_3_O_9_
We have measured the thermal conductivity along the [101] direction,
kappa_[101]_, along the [10-1] direction, kappa_[10-1]_, and along the b-axis,
kappa_b_, of the quasi one-dimensional S=1/2 spin system Sr_2_V_3_O_9_ in
magnetic fields up to 14 T, in order to find the thermal conductivity due to
spinons and to clarify whether the spin-chains run along the [101] or [10-1]
direction. It has been found that both kappa_[101]_, kappa_[10-1]_ and kappa_b_
show one peak around 10 K in zero field and that the magnitude of kappa_[10-1]_
is larger than those of kappa_[101]_ and kappa_b_. By the application of
magnetic field along the heat current, the peak of kappa_[10-1]_ is markedly
suppressed, while the peaks of kappa_[101]_ and kappa_b_ little change. These
results indicate that there is a large contribution of spinons to kappa_[10-1]_
and suggest that the spin-chains run along the [10-1] direction.Comment: 3 pages, 4 figure
