Effectiveness of the application of organic matter and Trichoderma viride from suppresive soil to control fusarium wilt on banana plant. Fusarium wilt disease caused by Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cubense is one of the problems in banana production. This research was aimed to evaluate the effect of Trichoderma viride isolated from suppresive soil and organic matter on controlling fusarium wilt on banana plant. The efficcacy trial consisted of 12 treatments and four replications within each treatment. Each experimental unit consisted of 10 plants. Organic matters used were rice straw, cassava peel, and compost. Treatments were arranged in a randomized complete block design. Data obtained were analyzed by analysis of variance followed by orthogonal analysis (P≤0.05). Application of T. viride suppressed disease incident up to 65%. The highest disease incident occurred in plants treated without T. viride and organic matter and in plants treated with organic matter only (78.33%). Disease incidence in plants treated with T.viride was lower than those treated with the combination of T. viride and organic matter. Different application times (in nursery or soil medium) did not significantly affect fusarium wilt incidence. The type of organic matter did not significantly affect the incidence and severity of fusarium wilt

Wi-Fi is a technology that is very poluler today. WiFi is an abbreviation of Wireless Fidelity, is a set of standards used for Wireless Local Network (LAN Local Area Networks) whose function is to connect local area networks in a wireless manner. Along with the evolution of telecommunications technology based on wireless technology, then we need for a communication system that can perform high-speed data transmission with good quality. One of the devices supporting wireless communication devices is the antenna. The use and selection of antennas is one of the important factors that affect the performance of the antenna as well as good design and proper installation will ensure the performance of the telecommunications system. Microstrip antenna has the advantages of low profile form, which is easy and inexpensive to produce in mass but has a small gain and bandwidth. This paper discusses the design of the Microstrip antennas patch for WiFi applications that operate at a frequency of 5.8 GHz . In this design uses FR4 epoxy material = 4.4 and a thickness of 1.6 mm, is suitable for application of high-frequency antenna. For the simulation in this paper using the software CST Microwave Studio. From the results of the design using CST studio microvawe is obtained in accordance with the specification antenna, with VSWR ≤ 1.5, gain ≥ 2 dB and return loss ≥ 20 dB

Long Term Evolution - Advanced (LTE-A) is a 4G wireless broadband technology based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). It provides improved system capacity and coverage, high peak data rate and low latency. OFDM technology is used to reduce the Intersymbol Interference (ISI), however it increases the effect of Intercell Interference (ICI) due to single frequency used. The high ICI will give affect to the perfomance of users at the cell edge and cell centre. To avoid the ICI, the ICI management is required. In this paper, the ICI management is described. There are three schemes are analyzed such as Frequency Reuse 1 (FR1), Fractional Frequency Reuse (FFR), Soft Frequency Reuse (SFR). From the simulation results, the best results are provided by SFR. It gives CINR of 21,14 dB, and 40.547,67 kbps of throughpu

LTE technology is a technological evolution of the UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunication System) on the three-generation (3G). Mobile telecommunications service providers have the opportunity to use technology through frequency refarming. Before applying the LTE technology, cell planning based on capacity and coverage need calculated in orde to calculated the number of site eNodeB. This research aims to provide of placement site and the number of sites required for the implementation of eNodeB of frequency 1850MHz. Calculation the number of site eNodeB is based on capacity dimensioning and coverage planning. The results showed the number of sites required in the Sub-district Bukit Raya Pekanbaru is 31 site

Genetic Diversity Among Sugarcane (Saccharum Officinarum L.) Genotypes as Shown by Randomly Amplified Polymorphic Dna (Rapd)

This experiment was conducted to reveal genetic diversity among 38 genotypes of sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) using RAPD markers. The population consisted of 8 genotypes from Australia, 7 from Africa, 10 from America, and 13 from Asia. Genetic similarity was ranging from 17% to 97% , with the average of 57%. UPGMA dendrograms divided the population into three major groups i.e. group 1, 2, and 3 which consist-ed of 23, 10, and 5 genotypes, respectively. Each major group comprised genotypes of different geographical origins. The dendrogram divided each group into some subgroups. There were 8 subgroups i.e. 4 subgroups in group 1, 2 sub-groups in group 2, and 2 subgroups in group 3. Some genotypes of same geographical origin were clustered into in at least 3 different sub-groups, meaning that they were genetically dis-similar. On the other hand, some other geno-types of different geographical origin were clustered into the same subgroup, meaning that they were genetically similar. This data would help sugarcane breeders to select parents for hybridization in order to maximize heterosis. This could be conducted by selecting parents of dis-similar genotypes

Implementation of Demonstration Methods to Increase Result of Learning Mathematics in Class of IV SDN 15 Copper. This research aims to increase result of learning by applying mathematical demonstration method in class IV SDN 15 Copper. Research method used is descriptive method with the its research form is Classroom Action Research. Based on research that was done there was an increase teachers ability to implement the learning in the classroom on cycle I score an average of 3,00 and cycle of II scores on average to 3,71 with the category very good. While students in learning activities increases, the cycle I scores on average by 66,79 % and cycle of II of the average score of the class at 82,15 %. And able to improve student learning outcomes when compared with not applying mathematics learning demonstration methods. This can be seen from the increase in students class average score of 65,54 at cycle I become 80,36 at cycle II.This is the case there is an increase of 14,82

Infrared sensor and photodiode is widely used in a wide variety of applications, ranging from the military field, health and so forth. Infrared sensor and photodiode can detect any objects that pass nearby, it is because the infrared sensor and photodiode has a high sensitivity. The railway gate security system, infrared sensor very helpful. The secutiry systems designed using LabVIEW can work by monitoring sensors connected to the microcontroller Arduino Uno. The program on Arduino microcontroller designed by entering commands to be execute. To run the simulations, LabVIEW and Arduino should be interfaced first in order to communicate well. NI-VISA application is added as a means between LabVIEW and Arduino in LabVIEW
