About the Role of Fe-Ions in the Formation of Magnetocaloric Effect in Ho(Co1-xFex)(2) Compounds
MAGNETIC AND MAGNETOCALORIC PROPERTIES Fe2CrxMn1-xSi, х=0.1, 0.2, 0.3 COMPOUNDS
The alloys Fe2CrxMn,_xSi were recently synthesized in our group. The paper covers some of magnetic and magneto-thermal properties of this alloys. The single phase Heusler alloy Fe2CrMnSi was synthesized using the method of arc melting. Magnetic properties of this alloys were measured on the VSM 7407 Lake Shore. The temperature of the maximum of magnetocaloric effect monotonically increases with the chromium content. The values of А5я .аге -0.73, -0.56 and -0.59 J/kgK for samples with * = 0 .1,0 .2 ,0.3 respectively in magnetic field 1.7 T
