Experimental investigation of dp → ppn reaction at intermediate energies at Nuclotron
The data of dp → ppn reaction have been accumulated at 300, 400 and 500 MeV in the Nuclotron (Dubna, Russia) and partially processed for some kinematic configurations including few in which possible relativistic effects can appear. Kinematic simulation in the framework of ROOT and GEANT4 package have been performed before data processing. Part of the preliminary results are obtained in the form of energy deposit correlations of the two arms working in coincidence and few in the form of kinematic S curv
Measurement of the vector and tensor analyzing powers for dp- elastic scattering at 880 MeV
The vector Ay and tensor analyzing powers Ayy and Axx for dp- elastic
scattering were measured at Td = 880 MeV over the c.m. angular range from 60 to
140 degrees at the JINR Nuclotron. The data are compared with predictions of
different theoretical models based on the use of nucleon-nucleon forces only.
The observed discrepancies of the measured analyzing powers from the
calculations require the consideration of additional mechanisms.Comment: 5 pages,3 figure
Few-body Studies at Nuclotron-JINR
Recent results on the deuteron analyzing powers in dp- elastic scattering obtained at Nuclotron (JINR, Dubna) are compared with the calculations performed within relativistic multiple scattering model. The data demonstrate strong deviation form the predictions at large angles in the cm
Production of {\pi}+ and K+ mesons in argon-nucleus interactions at 3.2 AGeV
First physics results of the BM@N experiment at the Nuclotron/NICA complex
are presented on {\pi}+ and K+ meson production in interactions of an argon
beam with fixed targets of C, Al, Cu, Sn and Pb at 3.2 AGeV. Transverse
momentum distributions, rapidity spectra and multiplicities of {\pi}+ and K+
mesons are measured. The results are compared with predictions of theoretical
models and with other measurements at lower energies.Comment: 29 pages, 20 figure
Large area BM@N GEM detectors
Baryonic Matter at Nuclotron (BM@N) is a fixed target experiment at the NICA accelerator complex in JINR aimed to study nuclear matter in relativistic heavy ion collisions. Detectors based on Gas Electron Multipliers (GEM) are used for the central tracking system of the BM@N experiment, which is located inside the BM@N analyzing magnet. The structure of the GEM detectors and the results of study of their characteristics are presented. The performance of seven GEM detectors integrated into the BM@N experimental setup and data acquisition system is briefly reviewed
Experimental investigation of dp
There are still discrepancies between theory and experimental data in the polarisation observables of dp → ppn reaction in the low and intermediate energies, despite of significant process in the development of theoretical models which include three and more nucleon forces and relativistic effects.
