Pendugaan Kriteria Seleksi Genotip Kedelai
The implementation of the selection that refers to the use of genetic parameter value might expect very effective help in accelerating the discovery of a superior genotypes in accordance with plant breeding program. Twelve promissing lines and check varieties of soybean were planted at KP Sitiung Dharmasraya on two seasons namely MT1 from August-November 2009 and MT2 from December to March 2010. Fertilization with a dose of 75 kg of urea was 125 kg SP36 and 75kg of KCl/ha, the plot size is 2.80 m x 4.0 m. A randomized complete block design with four replication. Variable measured were agronomic characters, yield component and yield. The results the experiment indicated that heritability of all the characters were high (50,43% - 95,98%). Only heritability of plant high at MT1 and yield both environments was medium. The value of guess heritabilitas high on productive branch character per plant and pods per plant is supported by genetic advances and coefficient of average genetic variation is quite high and high, thus both these characters can be reference selection criteria to get productive branches per plant and pods per plant
Observational Constraints on Phantom Crossing DGP Gravity
We study the observational constraints on the Phantom Crossing DGP model. We
demonstrate that the crossing of the phantom divide does not occur within the
framework of the original Dvali-Gabadadze-Porrati (DGP) model or the DGP model
developed by Dvali and Turner. By extending their model in the framework of an
extra dimension scenario, we study a model that realizes crossing of the
phantom divide. We investigate the cosmological constraints obtained from the
recent observational data of Type Ia Supernovae, Cosmic Microwave Background
anisotropies, and Baryon Acoustic Oscillations. The best fit values of the
parameters with 1 (68%) errors for the Phantom Crossing DGP model are
, . We find that
the Phantom Crossing DGP model is more compatible with the observations than
the original DGP model or the DGP model developed by Dvali and Turner. Our
model can realize late-time acceleration of the universe, similar to that of
CDM model, without dark energy due to the effect of DGP gravity. In
our model, crossing of the phantom divide occurs at a redshift of .Comment: 17 pages, 9 figures, 1 table, Accepted for publication in

Superior varieties is one component of the innovative technology that is reliable and gives a real contribution to the success of an increase in the productivity of food crops in Indonesia. To that end, the discovery of new superior variety is continuously carried out absolute in order to anticipate changes in the structure of the plant organism, the situation is very dynamic, the resilience of a superior varieties of plant organism could not last long. Testing adaptation promissing lines is one of the stages approach to filter lines that are capable of adapting well and has high yield potential. In 2009 has been carried out 10 test promissing lines of rice fields on two locations in Solok Regency of West Sumatra from Agustus 2009 to Januari 2010. The experiment used a randomized complete block design, with four replication was used, plot size 4.0 m x 5.0 m Fertilizer aplicated at rate of 280 kg of Urea, 100 kg SP 36 and 100 kg KCl/ha. The results showed promissing lines BP10620F-BB4-15-BB8 and BP2842E-14-2 were 21.50% and 21,72% more than varieties IR42. Plant high posture all the promissing lines including the ideal that is with the range of 85-105 cm
Dynamical symmetry breaking of SU(6) GUT in 5-dimensional spacetime with orbifold S1/Z2
The symmetry breaking of 5-dimensional SU(6) GUT into 4-dimensional SU(3) x
SU(3) x U(1) with orbifold S1/Z2 through Scherk-Schwarz mechanism is
investigated. It is shown that the origin of Little Higgs can be generated to
further break SU(3) x SU(3) x U(1) down to the electroweak scale through Higgs
mechanism.Comment: 4 page
Proton decay in 5D SU(6) GUT with orbifold S^1/Z_2 breaking in Scherk-Schwarz mechanism
Proton decay within 5-dimensional SU(6) GUT with orbifold S^1/Z_2 breaking is
investigated using Scherk-Schwarz mechanism. It is shown that in the model
neither leptoquark like heavy gauge bosons nor violation of baryon number
conservation are allowed due to the orbifold breaking parity splitting. These
results prevent too short proton lifetime within the model.Comment: 6 pages, Proceeding of the Conference in Honour of Murray Gell-Mann's

Cepstral analysis based on the Glimpse proportion measure for improving the intelligibility of HMM-based synthetic speech in noise
In this paper we introduce a new cepstral coefficient extraction method based on an intelligibility measure for speech in noise, the Glimpse Proportion measure. This new method aims to increase the intelligibility of speech in noise by modifying the clean speech, and has applications in scenarios such as public announcement and car navigation systems. We first explain how the Glimpse Proportion measure operates and further show how we approximated it to integrate it into an existing spectral envelope parameter extraction method commonly used in the HMM-based speech synthesis framework. We then demonstrate how this new method changes the modelled spectrum according to the characteristics of the noise and show results for a listening test with vocoded and HMM-based synthetic speech. The test indicates that the proposed method can significantly improve intelligibility of synthetic speech in speech shaped noise. Index Terms — cepstral coefficient extraction, objective measure for speech intelligibility, Lombard speech, HMM-based speech synthesis 1
Parameter Genetik Padi Sawah Dataran Tinggi
The experiment using 14 gonotipe exercised on agroekosistem the high lands rice of with elevation 850 to 1050 m asl on five environment in West Sumatra. Aranged in a randomized complete block design, with three replication. Variable measured were agronomic characters, yield componen on yield. The result showed that in general all the characters observed it has value expect heritability high , and value genetic gain, as well as a coefficient the genetic variation in general also massive exc weights 1 000 grains with value expect both the parameters low. Based on the value of a parameter this genetic and to increase efiesien selection and activities selection be done in the early . Keywords; high land rice, heritability, koefisien variance genetic
