Indonesia is a country which has plastic waste problem. Based on BPS's (1999) data shows that in 1995 volume of import plastic trade in Indonesia especially polipropilena (PP) is 136,122.7 tons whereas in 1999 is 182,523.6 tons. Thus, in that particular time the volume of import plastic trade increases up to 34.15 %. In this case, we create a new innovation in the form of injection molding machine to overcome plastic waste problem. Injection molding machine is a waste processor machine which change plastic waste from solid form into fluidaform then take it into a mold by using screw. Moreover, Injection molding machine could change plastic waste becomes valuable commercial products. One of the products is bird cage. In this case, it helps the bird cage maker to overcome the scarcity of rattan and the explosion volume of plastic waste

Calving Interval Sapi Perah Laktasi Di Balai Besar Pembibitan Ternak Unggul Dan Hijauan Pakan Ternak (Bbptu-hpt) Baturraden Purwokerto Jawa Tengah

The aim of this research are to know calving interval and factor´s at lactation dairy cattle in BBPTU-HPT Baturraden Purwokerto Central Java. This research was conducted on April 29 th -- May 13 th 2014 to on 151 heads lactating dairy cattle. This research used sensus method, data obtained was real data that present and accuread in BBPTU-HPT Baturraden. Analysis data used regression analysis with SPSS (Statistik Packet for Social Science). The result showed that the calving interval at lactating dairy cattle in BBPTU-HPT Baturraden is 14.80 ± 3.36 months. Factor that effect calving interval at lactating dairy cattle in BBPTU-HPT Baturraden from the herds man level are the number of cattle that maintain positively associated with factor value 0.177 and the distance between the cow shed with office that negatively assosiated with factor value 0.243. factor that efect calving interval on dairy cattle at the level of cattle are the age dairy cattle that positively associated with factor value 0,247;, periode lactation that negatively assosiated with factor value 0,287;, mating partus that positively associated with factor value 0,057;, lactating period that positively associated with factor value 0,904;, and dry priod that positively associated with factor value 0,961

Respon Fisiologis Itik Mojosari Jantan dengan Pemberian Ransum Berkadar Protein Kasar Berbeda

The purpose of this research is to investigate and evaluate of the physiological responses of Mojosari's male ducks that given different levels of crude protein (16, 18, 20, or 22% from dry feed). This study has been conducted for 75 days at the Integrated Laboratory Department of Animal Husbandry, of the Agriculture Faculty of the University of Lampung. The total amount of male's ducks about 48 animals consisted of 16 ducks that is placed in a different plots, so that each plot consists of three male ducks. The male's ducks are divided into four treatments, which is giving feed in a different protein levels, 16 , 18 , 20 , and 22 % . Each treatment repeated four times. The design of this research using randomized block design and data obtained are analyzed. In conclusion, that ration with crude protein levels of 16, 18, 20, and 22% has no significant effect (P>0.05) on physiological responses of Mojosari's male ducks and all ration treatment provides the same physiological response ducks on ration levels crude protein 16, 18, 20, and 22%

The Influencing of Public Policy Transparency for Improving the Capability on Budget Public Participation for the Member of Parliaments by Using Moderation Variable. (Case study of Member of Parliament Keerom). The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of public policy transparency on improving the understanding of Member of Parliament in relation to public budgeting. Survey was conducted to obtain data where the author distributed questionnaires to the respondents. By using regression equation, the study found that the influencing of transparency public policy on the capability of the Member of Parliaments was a significant where indicated the t value (1.350) higher than t table (0.188) with the significant level 0.05. In addition, the influencing of community participation as variables moderate and transparency in public policy showed that there was a positive relationship between transparency public policy and capability of the Member of Parliament on budget

Keterampilan Proses Sains dan Kemandirian Belajar Siswa: Profil dan Setting Pembelajaran untuk Melatihkannya

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk menganalisis profil keterampilan proses sains dan kemandirian belajar siswa SMP pada sekolah di Kabupaten Grobogan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 60 siswa pada dua Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kabupaten Grobogan. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes pilihan berganda, angket, lembar observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keterampilan-keterampilan proses sains perlu mendapat perhatian khusus agar dikembangkan dan dilatihkan dalam setiap diri siswa karena hanya dikuasasi oleh 20%-50% siswa, terutama keterampilan menginterpretasikan grafik dan berkomunikasi. Selain itu, kemandirian belajar siswa secara umum masih rendah sehingga perlu dilatihkan secara terus menerus dalam diri siswa. Inovasi model pembelajaran berbasis proyek menggunakan pendekatan saintifik dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dan kemandirian belajar siswa

Inquiry By Design Argumentation Activity: Melatihkan Kemampuan Kognitif pada Pembelajaran Fisika

Gagasan dikembangkannya desain pembelajaran inkuiri yang menggunakan kegiatan argumentasi adalah untuk merancang sebuah inovasi pembelajaran yang lebih memudahkan siswa dalam menguasai kemampuan kognitif pada pembelajaran fisika. Pengembangan desain pembelajaran ini diawali dengan melakukan studi pendahuluan di beberapa sekolah di kabupaten Bima. Studi pendahuluan dilakukan dengan melakukan tes kepada beberapa siswa, lalu melakukan observasi terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Hasil studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan kognitif siswa secara umum masih rendah, terutama pada aspek menerapkan (C3) dan menganalisis (C4). Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan tersebut, maka disusun desain pembelajaran inkuiri menggunakan kegiatan argumentasi. Tahapan pembelajarannya yaitu (1) mengidentifikasi masalah untuk diselidiki, (2) merumuskan hipotesis menggunakan kegiatan argumentasi, (3) melakukan eksperimen dengan model eksperimen inkuiri yang dipadukan dengan setting argumentasi, (4) melakukan analisis data dengan panduan lembar kerja siswa (LKS) berbasis inkuiri yang di setting argumentasi, (5) mengkomunikasikan hasil analisis menggunakan kegiatan argumentasi

Drainage system with retention pond and pump is the effective and effisien way for handling flood that happens. This study tries to keep the system for handling the flood at Belimbing Street of Dumai City. This study conducted a simulation retention pond and pump capacity by using water balance method. Retention pond and pump drainage system are designed using 10 year return period flood discharge. The discharge had been calculated by Rational method and IDF curve by Mononobe method. Reservoir pond need to be sized 5600 m3 (70m x 40m x 2m) and using effisien pumping capacity of 0,5 m3 / sec to handle the floodwater at Belimbing Street of Dumai City
