    Automatic selection of a subset size at vector fields construction

    An algorithm for selection of the size of a correlation kernel at displacement vector field construction by the method of digital image correlation has been proposed. The algorithm has been tested on simulated and experimental optical images having different texture. The influence of the correlation kernel size and image texture on nose immunity at determining displacements has been studied. It is shown that the proposed algorithm allows to find this size providing the minimum error when determination of displacements and estimation of deformation

    Optimization of the production plan taking according to the customers' strategic importance

    The article is devoted to the management of the production plan of the industrial enterprise. Existing approaches to optimization of the production plan are focused mainly on stochastic demand and consider the process of production plan formation. At the same time, many modern industrial enterprises often deal with rush orders in the course of their work. They have to solve the task of changing the formed production plan. If resources are limited, the decision to include an urgent order may result in a failure or a change in the due date of the orders included in the plan. In this regard, it becomes important to take into account the strategic importance of clients to the enterprise. The article proposes a methodological approach to the issue of inclusion or non-inclusion of rush order in the already formed and accepted production plan. The authors have developed a mathematical model of optimization of the formed production plan with the participation of rush order. The model uses Boolean variables to decide whether to include or refuse an order and an additional factor to increase margin income from the order for strategic customers. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd

    Organizational factors for manufacturing defects reduction in small batch production

    The study is devoted to the defects organizational causes analysis in the machine building products production process. The companies with the small batch production were taken into consideration. Factors related to the time norms fulfilling percentage, the work rhythm, the consolidation of operations at one workplace, the new technologies introduction and equipment failures were chosen. A preliminary factors selection according to independence criteria allowed us to build a reliable regression model for the defects rate calculating. The main factors influencing the defects rate in small batch production are the time norms fulfilling percentage, the rate of consolidation of operations at one workplace, and the number of new technological processes introduced. This allowed us to offer recommendations on the machining sites work organization. The final operations and productswhich are made from expensive metals should be carried out at workplaces with a low rate of operations consolidation. Also, it is important that the wage system should not contribute to over-fulfillment of norms. The maintenance and repair system should prevent malfunctions during operations fulfilment. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd

Цель статьи — показать видение проблемы не только в рамках социально-теоретического подхода, но и с позиции философской антропологии и теории коммуникации. Осуществлен анализ актуальных исследований по проблеме парадокса конфиденциальности и выявлены основные проблемы, привлекающие внимание специалистов. Отмечается, что трансформации границы приватного происходят в эпоху телевидения, когда складываются практики избыточной откровенности в обсуждении исключительно личных тем. Вместе с тем открытость в сфере приватного не исключает тревоги по поводу возможных последствий такой свободы. Показано, каким образом феномен самораскрытия, как неотъемлемый элемент общения, приобретает в сетевой коммуникации новые формы. Если в устном общении откровенно высказанная личная информация, как правило, ненадолго запоминается, то в Интернете приватное всегда в памяти Сети.The article seeks to offer a comprehensive understanding of privacy issues in online communication, particularly in the context of the confidentiality paradox. It delves into the problem not only from a socio-theoretical standpoint but also through the lenses of philosophical anthropology and communication theory. The article presents an overview of contemporary research on the paradox of confidentiality, spotlighting the key issues. The transformation of the private sphere’s boundary started in the television era as practices of excessive openness emerged in discussions focused on exclusively personal topics. However, openness in the private sphere does not eliminate concerns about potential consequences of such freedom. The article illustrates how self-disclosure, an integral communication element, takes on new forms in online communication. While openly shared personal information in verbal communication is typically short-lived in memory, the online realm preserves private information in the network’s memory

According to the results of routine research methods, it was found that 55.7% of patients have a gastrointestinal tract as a possible source of bleeding.В статье представлены результаты анализа причин анемии у пациентов с ишемической болезнью сердца, принимающих антиагреганты и антикоагулянты.     Радиационный контроль стронция-90 является важным для решения природоохранных и экологических задач. Анализ литературных источников показывает нам, что методики по определению стронция-90 длительные, достаточно сложные и многостадийные, не исключены погрешности определения и заниженные результаты. Необходимо подобрать оптимальные условия определения данного изотопа, упростить анализ и ускорить, при этом снизить предел обнаружения до 0,1 Бк/л. В результате работы были изучены 5 сорбентов для предварительного концентрирования стронция. На основании сравнения сорбционных характеристик выбраны лучшие сорбенты, исследовали влияние рН на степень сорбции стронция. Для селективного выделения стронция-90 на тонкослойном сорбенте MnO2-ТАЦ изучили влияние рН и возможность отделения цезия-137.Radiation monitoring of strontium-90 is important for solving nature conservation and ecological problems. The analysis of literature sources shows us that the methods for determining strontium-90 are long, rather complicated and multi-stage, determination errors and underestimated results are not excluded. It is necessary to select the optimal conditions for the determination of this isotope, simplify the analysis and accelerate, while reducing the detection limit to 0.1 Bq/L. As a result of the work, 5 sorbents for preliminary concentration of strontium were studied. Based on a comparison of the sorption characteristics, the best sorbents were selected, and the effect of pH on the degree of strontium sorption was investigated. For the selective isolation of strontium-90 on a thin-layer MnO2-CTA sorbent, the effect of pH and the possibility of separating cesium-137 were studied.Исследование выполнено при финансовой поддержке РФФИ и Правительства Свердловской области в рамках проекта № 20-43-660055

    Validation of the SIRENA score for assessing the risk of inhospital mortality in patients with acute pulmonary embolism in an independent sample

    Aim. To validate the SIRENA score  in assessing the risk of inhospital mortality in patients with pulmonary embolism (PE) in an independent sample.Material and methods. This retrospective, single-center study was based on the Samara Regional Cardiology Center. The risk of inhospital mortality was assessed using the SIRENA score, which includes such parameters as left ventricular ejection fraction <40%,  immobilization in prior 12 months, creatinine clearance <50 ml/min, syncope, cyanosis on admission. For each positive sign, 1 point is assigned. Low risk is set at score of 0-1, high — ≥2.Results. The study included 452 patients with PE hospitalized from 2004 to 2019, of which 221 (48,9%) were men (mean age, 60,0 years (50,5-70,0)).  With SIRENA score of 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4, inhospital mortality was 4,1%, 10,8%, 18,8%, 40,0%, and 100%, respectively. Mortality at SIRENA low risk (<2) was 7,1%, and at high risk (≥2) — 20,5% (odds ratio (OR), 3,34; 95% confidence interval (CI), 1,74-6,43; p<0,001).  The predictive sensitivity and specificity for inhospital mortality for the SIRENA score were 70,5% and 60,8%, respectively. Area under the ROC-curve for the SIRENA score was 0,71 (95% CI, 0,63-0,79), while for Simplified Pulmonary Embolism Severity Index (sPESI) — 0,69 (95%  CI, 0,60-0,77).  With high risk on both scales (sPESI and SIRENA), inhospital mortality was 24,2% (OR, 4,09, 95% CI, 2,07-8,09; p<0,001).Conclusion. On an independent sample, the SIRENA score  showed  a high predictive ability in predicting adverse outcomes in patients with PE with a sensitivity of 70,5% and a specificity of 60,8% (AUC=0,71, 95% CI, 0,63-0,79), comparable with the sPESI

    Functional Analysis of DNMT3A DNA Methyltransferase Mutations Reported in Patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia

    In mammals, DNA methylation is necessary for the maintenance of genomic stability, gene expression regulation, and other processes. During malignant diseases progression, changes in both DNA methylation patterns and DNA methyltransferase (MTase) genes are observed. Human de novo MTase DNMT3A is most frequently mutated in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) with a striking prevalence of R882H mutation, which has been extensively studied. Here, we investigate the functional role of the missense mutations (S714C, R635W, R736H, R771L, P777R, and F752V) found in the catalytic domain of DNMT3A in AML patients. These were accordingly mutated in the murine Dnmt3a catalytic domain (S124C, R45W, R146H, R181L, P187R, and F162V) and in addition, one-site CpG-containing DNA substrates were used as a model system. The 3-15-fold decrease (S124C and P187R) or complete loss (F162V, R45W, and R146H) of Dnmt3a-CD methylation activity was observed. Remarkably, Pro 187 and Arg 146 are not located at or near the Dnmt3a functional motives. Regulatory protein Dnmt3L did not enhance the methylation activity of R45W, R146H, P187R, and F162V mutants. The key steps of the Dnmt3a-mediated methylation mechanism, including DNA binding and transient covalent intermediate formation, were examined. There was a complete loss of DNA-binding affinity for R45W located in the AdoMet binding region and for R146H. Dnmt3a mutants studied in vitro suggest functional impairment of DNMT3A during pathogenesis
