Probing new physics with coherent neutrino scattering off nuclei

The possibility off measuring for the first time neutrino-nuclei coherent scattering has been recently discussed by several experimental collaborations. It is shown that such a measurement may be very sensitive to non-standard interactions of neutrinos with quarks and might set better constraints than those coming from future neutrino factory experiments. We also comment on other types of new physics tests, such as extra heavy neutral gauge bosons, where the sensitivity to some models is slightly better than the Tevatron constraint and, therefore, could give complementary bounds.Comment: 15 pages, 4 figures Discussion about Z prime corrected and extended. Integrasi Pembelajaran Kanji dengan Pembelajaran Sakubun untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis

Research aims to find the influence of strategies used in intermediate kanji learning, i.e. in a more applicative class using kanji, on middle kanji and composition class (sakubun). Research viewed and compared the influence of students' mark in Intermediate Kanji with their mark in Sakubun. The questionnaire used in this research was the Strategy Inventory for Language Learning (SILL) consisting of 50 questions associated with types of strategy to learn kanji. The result obtained using T-test and correlation test was the students' mark in kanji affected their mark in Sakubun. The relationship is the higher mark in kanji, the higher mark in Sakubun. As a conclusion, student essay writing ability is affected by the numbers of kanji remembered and used by students

On extreme field limits in high power laser matter interactions: radiation dominant regimes in high intensity electromagnetic wave interaction with electrons

We discuss the key important regimes of electromagnetic field interaction with charged particles. Main attention is paid to the nonlinear Thomson/Compton scattering regime with the radiation friction and quantum electrodynamics effects taken into account. Persediaan Oli dengan Mempertimbangkan Substitusi Demand

Mengganti oli mesin termasuk perawatan sepeda motor yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi keausan pada elemen mesin yang selalu mengalami kontak antar tiap elemennya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di bengkel dan toko oli sepeda motor di Salatiga yang memiliki masalah dalam persediaan oli. Oli yang dijual memiliki berbagai macam jenis viskositas dan merk. Salah satu supplier memiliki promo yang mempengaruhi penjualan oli toko tersebut dan belum terdapat kebijakan dari pemilik toko. Supplier memberikan target penjualan jumlah oli dengan ketentuan waktu tertentu agar toko bisa mendapatkan keuntungan dari supplier. Pemilik toko tidak ingin kehilangan pelanggan yang menggunakan oli merk lain, sehingga tetap menjual merk lain dengan persediaan minimum. Saat oli dengan merk lain sedang kosong dan terdapat permintaan maka akan disubstitusikan dengan oli yang terikat promo. Maka sistem persediaan dari masing-masing oli harus dipertimbangkan guna susbtitusi demand terhadap oli dengan promo tertentu. Solusi untuk penyelesaian atas permasalahan sistem persediaan toko tersebut yaitu dengan menggunakan model simulasi. Model simulasi menggunakan Micosoft Excel untuk menganalisis permasalahan yang terjadi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan re-order point, waktu pemesanan, dan jumlah pemesanan yang tepat agar promo oli tersebut dapat terpenuhi.
