Crystal Structure of 1-(2,4-dimethylphenyl)-2-(4-Trimethylsilyl-1H-1,2,3-Triazol-1-yl) Ethanone

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C15H21N3OSi, contains two molecules with similar conformations (r.m.s. overlay fit for the 20 non-H atoms = 0.163 Å). The dihedral angles between the planes of the 1,2,3-triazole and 2,4-dimethylbenzene rings are 27.0 (3) and 19.5 (3)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked by very weak C—H...O and C—H...N hydrogen bonds to generate [100] chains. The chains are cross-linked by C—H...π interactions

Ultrasonic synthesis and crystal structure analysis of two trimethylsilyloxy-substituted bicyclo[2.2.2]octene derivatives

The compounds: 11-trimethylsilyloxy-1,2,3,4,4a,9a-hexahydro-1,4-etheno-anthraquinone and 4-benzyl-8-trimethylsilyloxy-4-aza-tricyclo[5.2.2.0]undec-8-ene-3,5-dione were synthesized by the Diels–Alder [4πs +2 πs] cycloaddition reaction of 2-(trimethylsilyloxy)-1,3-cyclohexadiene with naphthaquinone and N-benzylmaleimide under ultrasonic conditions. The crystal structure analysis was done using single crystal X-ray diffraction method. Influencing the Knowledge Level of the Fish Farmers in Southern Karnataka

For the purpose of present investigation a teacher made knowledge test was constructed to measure the knowledge of the respondents about composite fish culture practices. The analysis clearly revealed that, the education and socio-economlc status were favorable psychological and communication variables played and important roles. However, amongst these psychological, communication and socio-economic variables, innovative proneness, scientific orientation and size of holdings were obtained as the determining factors in the multiple regression analysis. Further, path analysis revealed that scientific orientation through innovative proneness was giving direct effect on the knowledge level of farmers
