Spur reduction in bang-bang PLLs using programmable bit-stream

All-digital bang-bang phase-locked loops (PLLs) are prone to spurious output tones. In this reported work, a programmable bit-sequence is generated and used as a time-mode dithering signal. The bit-stream can be programmed to emulate the required order of a ΣΔ modulator operating in the time-domain without need for any hardware change. This method leads to a low-cost, compact, low-power and versatile phase noise-shaping scheme

A juxtaglomerular cell tumor revealed by a hemorrhagic stroke. A case report

With about 110 cases reported in literature, juxtaglomerular cell tumors are rare. We report a 25 years old patient who was admitted in neurology for a hemorrhagic stroke secondary to a cerebral aneurysm rupture due to high blood pressure. Etiological investigations showed a solid mass of the left kidney. A radical nephrectomy was realized and pathological examination and immunohistochemical profile concluded to juxtaglomerular cell tumor.
