Saprotrophic soil fungi to improve phosphorus solubilisation and release. In vitro abilities of several species

Modern agriculture is dependent on phosphate rock (PR), which is a nonrenewable resource. Improvement of phosphorus (P) availability for crops in agricultural soils represents a key strategy to slow down the depletion of PR. The aim of this study was to identify potential P biofertilisers among saprotrophic fungal species. We tested 30 fungal strains belonging to 28 taxa (4 Zygomycota and 24 Ascomycota) and with different life strategies. The study showed that many saprotrophic fungi have the ability to mobilise P from insoluble forms according to a variety of mechanisms. Our results expand the pool of P solubilising fungal species, also suggesting a new solubilisation index and shedding light on parameters that could be basic in the selection of efficient soil P-biofertilisers fungi. Rhizopus stolonifer var. stolonifer, Aspergillus niger and Alternaria alternata were found to be the best performing strains in terms of amounts of TCP solubilisation

Deep models optimization on embedded devices to improve the orientation estimation task at sea

The environmental monitoring task has greatly benefited from the improvements achieved in the robotics field. The enhancement of navigation and control algorithms, together with the use of performing, small and low-cost sensors, allows in fact to reduce the implementation costs while improving the system reliability. This is strongly supported by the developments of embedded hardware, smart computing devices able to collect and process data in real-time and in low-resource settings. Following the results obtained by DOES, this work aims at putting another step towards its deployment in live scenarios: we propose a study on the performances of DOES tested on embedded systems, using lighter backbone architectures and model optimization techniques

DANAE: A denoising autoencoder for underwater attitude estimation

One of the main issues for underwater robots navigation is their accurate positioning, which heavily depends on the orientation estimation phase. The systems employed to this scope are affected by different noise typologies, mainly related to the sensors and to the irregular noise of the underwater environment. Filtering algorithms can reduce their effect if opportunely configured, but this process usually requires fine techniques and time. In this paper we propose DANAE, a deep Denoising AutoeNcoder for Attitude Estimation which works on Kalman filter IMU/AHRS data integration with the aim of reducing any kind of noise, independently of its nature. This deep learningbased architecture showed to be robust and reliable, significantly improving the Kalman filter results. Further tests could make this method suitable for real-time applications on navigation tasks

Enhancement of 5-FU sensitivity by the proapoptotic rpL3 gene in p53 null colon cancer cells through combined polymer nanoparticles

Colon cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death worldwide and the therapy with 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) is mainly limited due to resistance. Recently, we have demonstrated that nucleolar stress upon 5-FU treatment leads to the activation of ribosome-free rpL3 (L3) as proapoptotic factor. In this study, we analyzed L3 expression profile in colon cancer tissues and demonstrated that L3 mRNA amount decreased with malignant progression and the intensity of its expression was inversely related to tumor grade and Bcl-2/Bax ratio. With the aim to develop a combined therapy of 5-FU plus plasmid encoding L3 (pL3), we firstly assessed the potentiation of the cytotoxic effect of 5-FU on colon cancer cells by L3. Next, 10 μM 5-FU and 2 μg of pL3 were encapsulated in biocompatible nanoparticles (NPs) chemically conjugated with HA to achieve active tumor-targeting ability in CD44 overexpressing cancer cells. We showed the specific intracellular accumulation of NPs in cells and a sustained release for 5-FU and L3. Analysis of cytotoxicity and apoptotic induction potential of combined NPs clearly showed that the 5-FU plus L3 were more effective in inducing apoptosis than 5-FU or L3 alone. Furthermore, we show that the cancer-specific chemosensitizer effect of combined NPs may be dependent on L3 ability to affect 5-FU efflux by controlling P-gp (P-glycoprotein) expression. These results led us to propose a novel combined therapy with the use of 5-FU plus L3 in order to establish individualized therapy by examining L3 profiles in tumors to yield a better clinical outcomes

"Ser" padres hoy... ¿Cómo jugar el ser analista? Reflexiones acerca de lo transicional en la práctica clínica con niños, adolescentes y padres

El objetivo de este Trabajo Libre se enmarca en una reflexión conceptual permanente en tanto mi práctica como Psicóloga con Niños/as, Adolescentes… y sus Padres. El eje de “Infancias y Violencias” situado entre otros en este Congreso, estimula habida cuenta de mi posición ética como analista, así como vuelve a interrogarme sobre experiencias de abordaje terapéutico en instituciones hospitalarias, recorridos escolares y en la consulta en el ámbito privado; que fueron cimentando y conmoviendo dicha práctica de forma enriquecedora en la dinámica profesional. Las consultas infanto-juveniles tienen para el Psicoanálisis un ad-hoc de trabajo con los Padres. Es una seria decisión “tomar a un niño/a en tratamiento”: establecer quién precisa el espacio, implicará un primer interrogar desde una lógica de escena vincular asociada al problema que motiva la consulta en cuestión, y un posterior quehacer “en juego”. Donald Winnicott nos proveerá del principal soporte conceptual, estableciendo un diálogo clínico en conjunción con dicha interpelación; además de compartir e intercambiar algunas inferencias y vicisitudes, en tanto el lugar de estos padres. En el marco del trabajo con Infancias proponemos pensar juntos la Creatividad como alternativa de abordaje en la Espacialidad Transicional; en aras de establecer una praxis cada vez más ligada a la salud y alejada de algunos efectos de violencia, y enfermedad.The objective of this Free Work is framed in a permanent conceptual reflection in my practice as a Psychologist with Children, Adolescents... and their Parents. The ‘Children and Violences’ axis, located among others in this Congress, encourage, taking into account my ethical position as an Analyst, as well as revisiting me about the experiences of therapeutic approach in hospital institutions, school trips and in private consultation; that were cementing and moving my practice in an enriching way in the professional dynamics. The consultations for children and adolescents have for Psychoanalysis an ad-hoc working with the Parents. It is a serious decision ‘to put a child in treatment’, establish Who needs the space will involve a first interrogating from a logic of linking scene associated with the problem that motivates the query in question, and a later task ‘put into play’. Donald Winnicott provides us with the main conceptual support, establishing a clinical dialogue in conjunction with said interpellation; besides sharing and exchanging some inferences and vicissitudes in the framework of work with Infancias; and the proposal to think together about the Creation of this Transitional Space, in order to establish a practice increasingly linked to Health and away from the effects of unwanted violence.Facultad de Psicologí

Transitionality and continuity of being alive

El propósito del siguiente trabajo será analizar y proponer una lectura posible de la teoría de Donald Winnicott con relación a algunos conceptos centrales sobre el desarrollo emocional en términos de constitución psíquica. La propuesta se enmarca en el proyecto I+D: “El juego como actividad sublimatoria. Procesos de simbolización en niños y adolescentes de la ciudad de La Plata: Un estudio exploratorio”, dirigido por Andrea E. Mirc y co-dirigido por Roxana E. Gaudio. En esta comunicación se indagará, en una primera aproximación de carácter exploratorio, cómo contribuye la creación al trabajo psíquico de producción simbólica de la niñez. En efecto, se postula que la Continuidad de estar vivo se logra teniendo en cuenta que el Self implica a la persona que Soy, un “Yo Soy” particular, según los procesos de maduración experimentados. Sobre esta consideración general, se busca problematizar la cuestión sobre la constitución del sentir, de estar vivos, profundizando la lógica metapsicológica en sus fundamentos.The aim of this work is to analyze and propose a possible reading of Donald Winnicott´s Theory in relation of some central concepts about the emotional development in terms of psychological constitution. This proposal is framed on the I+D proyect: “El juego como actividad sublimatoria. This paper explores, in a preliminary approximation, how creation contributes to psychic work of symbolic production of childhood. Indeed, we postulate that the continuity of being alive it takes places in the consideration that the Self implies the person I am, a particular “I am”, according to the maturation processes experienced. Procedimental proposal to research (create) a doctoral thesis: summary of the definitive plan

Propuesta procedimental: Plan Definitivo -Planteo del Trabajo Libre: Esta tesis se incluye en la propuesta de Doctorado en Psicología de la Facultad de Psicología de la UNLP. El tema a investigar indaga las concepciones fundamentales en los aportes teóricos legados por Winnicott sobre la Transicionalidad. -Metodología: Estudio doctoral de carácter teórico, con diseño cualitativo. Problematizaremos, fundamentos epistemológicos y metodológicos de las categorías conceptuales que inician en la teoría de la agresividad con relación a la noción de creatividad. Se pretende una reformulación de la noción de espacio transicional en tanto estructura de incipiente teoría, aún no formalizada como tal. -Categorías conceptuales seleccionadas: Profundizaremos nuestro abordaje con señuelo de relectura en el funcionamiento de los procesos psíquicos (Winnicott, 1996). Virtuality and / or transitional potentiality?

El presente trabajo se enmarca en la transmisión de algunas ideas del recorrido iniciado como tesista. Esta tesis se incluye en la propuesta de Doctorado de la Facultad de Psicología de la UNLP. El tema a investigar consta sobre concepciones nodales de los aportes teóricos legados por Donald Winnicott sobre la Transicionalidad. Su dirección se encuentra a cargo del Dr. Carlos Tkach (UBA) y la Dra. Norma Delucca (UNLP) Habida cuenta del inédito momento histórico que estamos atravesando con motivo de la pandemia Covid, entendemos de importancia compartir inquietudes con respecto a la virtualidad como herramienta ineludible de contacto y su consecuencia en tanto el dispositivo analítico que nuestra práctica propone. La metodología cualitativa de esta investigación teórica nos resultó relevante al área nueva implementada. El objeto será debatir y organizar desde la experiencia clínica realizada, un análisis del espacio transicional, y de la función del analista y su intervención. Resultados: este trabajo implicará la posibilidad potencial de poder ejercer nuestro quehacer desde la virtualidad. Virtualidad que no significa transicionalidad. Desde el dispositivo pantalla asumiremos un replanteo de ciertos aspectos prácticos del área intermedia o transicional y nuestro quehacer analítico en virtud del tratamiento analítico, lo cual implicará como consecuencia: un reposicionamiento creador.This thesis is included in the proposal for a Doctorate from the UNLP Faculty of Psychology. The topic to be investigated consists of nodal conceptions of the theoretical contributions bequeathed by Donald Winnicott on Transitionality. Norma Delucca (UNLP) Given the unprecedented historical moment that we are going through due to the Covid pandemic, we understand the importance of sharing concerns regarding virtuality as an inescapable contact tool and its consequence as the analytical device that our practice proposes. The qualitative methodology of this theoretical research was relevant to the new area implemented. The objective will be to debate and organize from the clinical experience carried out, an analysis of the transitional space, and of the analyst’s role and his intervention. Results: this work will imply the potential possibility of being able to exercise our work from virtuality. Virtuality that does not mean transitional. From the screen device we will assume a rethinking of certain practical aspects of the intermediate or transitional area and our analytical work by virtue of the analytical treatment, which will imply as a consequence: a creative repositioning.Facultad de Psicologí

Transitional potentiality: creativity and being subjective

El presente trabajo se enmarca en el proyecto preliminar de tesis que se sitúa desde la teoría del desarrollo emocional de Donald Winnicott. Nuestro plan, con carácter de investigación teórica, pone en valor un autor cuyo aporte ha determinado una contribución de relevancia (Martínez, 2006). Consideramos un área de vacancia en su obra que propicia una interpelación a sustancializar, el requerimiento de una teorización de lo transicional (Winnicott, 1996). Dirigen esta tesis los Dres. Carlos Tkach y Norma Delucca. Ser latinoamericanos, e intentar promover debate en tanto los contextos de abordaje de nuestra práctica psicológica e investigativa, es una tarea que nos reúne desde la ética y el deseo mismo del ser y hacer intercambio en aras de profundizar el conocimiento y co-construir desde allí. Avances de mi experiencia en investigación a partir del plan preliminar presentado y su puntual cuestión de antecedente, estimulan algunas ideas para debatir y promover alter-nativas. How to think the transitional in Winnicott for a thesis research?

Este trabajo se enmarca en la Carrera de Doctorado de la Facultad de Psicología (UNLP). La tesis dirigida por Dr. Tkach y la Dra. Delucca: “Agresividad y creatividad en Donald Winnicott: diálogos conceptuales con su obra”, retoma la conceptualización de transicionalidad (Winnicott, 1996) Desde allí, nuestro objetivo principal pertinente a esta presentación, indagará acerca del tránsito de investigación - procesos metodológicos y lógicos - en tanto su transformación de plan preliminar a definitivo. La consecución de un plan requiere de formalizaciones y reformulaciones. Nos preguntamos desde la voz del investigador y tesista, acerca del proceso, diseño y progreso de pergeñar el objeto de tesis en tanto las cuestiones inherentes a la actividad de investigación misma. Su recorrido, pasaje y un tiempo-espacio psíquico de organización y simbolización en la actividad propia de un trayecto de tesis: ¿puede ser “transicional”? (Winnicott, 1996) Se proseguirá una investigación de carácter teórico y diseño cualitativo. Hipotetizamos el entramado de cuestiones creativas sobre pensar, elaborar y pergeñar un objeto de tesis, cuyo aporte sea inédito y original. (Eco, 2019) Retomando fundamentaciones nodales a esta construcción, los textos fuente para este trabajo, reúnen al propio tema de la tesis y los aportes metodológicos fundamentales para nuestra pregunta. The thesis directed by Dr. Tkach and Dr. Delucca: “Aggression and creativity in Donald Winnicott: conceptual dialogues with his work”, takes up the conceptualization of transitionality (Winnicott, 1996) From there, our main objective pertinent to this presentation, will investigate about the transit of research - methodological and logical processes - as its transformation from preliminary to final plan. The achievement of a plan requires formalizations and reformulations. We ask ourselves from the voice of the researcher and thesis student, about the process, design and progress of drawing up the thesis object as the issues inherent to the research activity itself. Its journey, passage and a psychic time-space of organization and symbolization in the activity of a thesis journey: can it be “transitional”? (Winnicott, 1996) A theoretical and qualitative design research will be continued. We hypothesize the network of creative questions about thinking, elaborating and designing a thesis object, whose contribution is unpublished and original. (Eco, 1971) Returning to the nodal foundations of this construction, the source texts for this work bring together the subject of the thesis and the fundamental methodological contributions to our question.
