    The purpose of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) in utilizing of idle land to increase agricultural business is to improve community welfare through diversification of agricultural businesses on idle land. This research was conducted in Walian Satu Village, South Tomohon Subdistrict, Tomohon City, for 10 months from February to November 2018 at Wawo farmer groups and Sapa farmer groups, each with 5 members so that the total members were 10 people. Criteria for achieving community partnership program activities (PKM) are: (1) land processing skills, (2) number and quality of production, (3) marketing, (4) income of group members, and (5) institutions and management. The results achieved through the community partnership program (PKM) are (1) increasing knowledge and skills of farmer group members in managing land. The expertise and knowledge possessed by farmer groups now has increased and has an effect on productivity and agricultural products, (2) intensive farming extention and supporting carried out by the team makes farmer groups experience increased insight in farming to be more increasing, both in its number and quality. (3) Limitations in funding make farmers difficult to manage land and choose to find other jobs. However with the funding from DP2M DIKTI, land management can be done well and farmer groups can develop their agricultural businesses and marketing. (4) Obstacles in cultivating of land and the desire to change professions are no longer the main thing due to various assistance in the form of seeds, agricultural equipment, funding, farming extention and supporting by the PKM team to develop agricultural businesses so that their income increases. (5) Debriefing knowledge about management and group institutions makes farmer groups better able to manage their farming.*jnkd*

    The study aims to determine how the role of bank credit in 2011 through 2016 in the agricultural sector in the province of North Sulawesi. The study was conducted in November 2016 until January 2017. The data used is descriptive data of quantitative and qualitative data sources are primary data and secondary data obtained from the events on the ground or opinion of a subject field related to the provision of credit to the agricultural sector, and resources that are not directly provide data to investigators, obtained by way of written documentation regarding matters necessary or variable of Bank Indonesia Representative of North Sulawesi. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis method of data analysis of quantitative and qualitative concerning the description of bank credit to the agricultural sector in the province of North Sulawesi. Analysis of data taken, namely Bank Indonesia report the amount of credit to the agricultural sector of the Year 2011 to the 2016. These descriptive data analysis aims to find bank financing in the agricultural sector in the province of North Sulawesi, which will be presented in the form of tables and graphs as well as to see the development lending. The results showed that the role of bank credit to the agricultural sector in the province of North Sulawesi is increasing every tahunnya dari in 2011 through 2016 with an average growth 14.36%. With the increase in the agricultural sector credit each year, meaning that the banks increasingly trusted by the community to help strengthen the capital of agricultural business operators in this regard in the form of lending

    The objectives of this research are: (1) Analyzing any susceptibility factors that can influence people downstream of Sario River to settle or not stay in settlements located in flood prone areas, (2) Reviewing the policy of flood-prone settlement management what is most effective in overcoming the existing flood problems at the site. This research was conducted in September until November 2017. Sampling method used was purposive sampling method. Analytical technique used in this research using quantitative method that is using logistic regression. The results of this study indicate that (1) the most influencing factor of the person staying in the flood prone area downstream of the Sario River is the social susceptibility factor precisely the social ties, ie the close kinship between the members of the community in the location. (2) Furthermore, the most appropriate government program for dealing with settlements of the lower flood prone areas of the Sario River is through the creation of a retaining river basin or river dredging

    PENERAPAN FUNGSI MANAJEMEN DALAM KELOMPOK TANI CEMPAKA

    The research aims to see how the implementation of management function in Cempaka farmer group in Meras Urban Village of Bunaken Sub-district of Manado City, by using Likert Scale concept to describe the implementation of management function which includes four functions (planning, organizing, implementation and evaluation). This research was conducted from February to June 2017. Data collection was primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews to 15 respondents using questionnaires and secondary data obtained from Meras Kelurahan Office. The sampling technique is Purposive Sampling that respondents are all members and managers of farmer group Cempaka. The resulting data is presented in tabular form and analyzed by Likert scale then described or describes the management function expectation in Cempaka farmer group. The results showed that the percentage of implementation of management function in Cempaka farmer group is 84,49% meaning the implementation of management functions that begin with planning work, finance or division of tasks in of each field to carry out what the work plan and evaluate the work of the group is in accordance with the function of management.*eprm

    This research aimed to analyze the role of agricultural sector to analyze in the economy and labor Absorption in Gorontalo Province. This research was conducted over three months and started from June to August 2015 in Gorontalo Province. The data used in this research was secondary data which was obtained from Statistics Central Bureau of Gorontalo Province. The analysis used analysis of Location Quotient (LQ), Multiplier Short Run (MS), elasticity of labor, and Trend Linear by using the PDRB variable and numbers of labor force. The result of this research showed that the role of agricultural sector in the absorption of labor in Gorontalo Province is relatively stable in each year, and reviewed from PDRB terms the agricultural sector including the basis sector. Therefore, it needed continuing research to know factors which influence PDRB except the labor, which can increase PDRB of agricultural sector. Furthermore, the role of agricultural sector in absorption labor in Gorontalo Province is big enough and relatively stable in each year. Reviewed from PDRB aspect and labor aspect, agricultural sector was including the basic sector. Government of Gorontalo Province was expected to give more concern by increasing of investment and improving of human resources in agricultural sector.Key words: Agricultural Sector, Location Quotient, Multiplier Share, Elasticity of Labor, Trend Linear

    This study aims to analyze how marketing strategies implemented by PT. Gunung Intan Permata Manado in exporting the nutmeg products in order to compete with other companies. This study uses data obtanined from direct observation and interviews using questionnaires. Data analysis methods used were Matrix of Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), Matrix of External Factor Evaluation (EFE), dan SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats). The results showed that the marketing strategy of nutmeg export applied by PT. Gunung Intan Permata is an aggressive growth strategy (growth oriented strategy). This strategy is a profitable strategy, because the company has the power that can be used to achieve the opportunities that exist. This strategy can be implemented through several alternative strategies, namely maintaining product quality and further tightening quality control to keep nutmeg demand high and maintain product quality and corporate image to maintain good business relationships and customer loyalty

    This study aims to find out how the conversion of agricultural land in 2013 to 2016 in North Minahasa District. The study was conducted from February to June 2017. The data used were secondary data obtained from North Minahasa National Land Agency (BPN) and Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of North Sulawesi. Data analysis used is descriptive data analysis method by using tables and graphs to describe conversion of agricultural land in Kabupaten Minahasa Utara. Analysis of the data taken is expert report of agricultural land function in North Minahasa District from 2013 to 2016. The results show that land conversion in North Minahasa District from 2013 to 2016 tends to increase. With increasing of farming land conversion means increasingly narrow agricultural land, while land conversion increases

    Analisis perbandingan tingkat inflasi di Kota Manado dan daerah perdesaan di Sulawesi Utara

    This study aims to: (1) Describe the inflation rate in the city of Manado and rural areas in the province of North Sulawesi; (2) to analyze the comparative rate of inflation that occurred in the city of Manado and rural areas in the province of North Sulawesi; (3) To analyze the effect of the inflation rate of each group of public spending to the inflation rate in the city of Manado and rural areas in the province of North Sulawesi. The research was conducted in the city of Manado North Sulawesi for 3 (three) months. The data used is inflation data from January 2009 to December 2014, which analyzed qualitative, and quantitative descriptive in the statistical analysis using different test average analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the average inflation rate for rural areas is relatively high compared with urban areas. seven groups of grouping expenditure in the inflation calculation period 2009-2014 showed that there are four groups that the inflation average rate is higher in cities than in rural, which includes foodstuffs, housing, electricity, gas and fuel; education, recreation and sports; and group transport, communications and financial services. The rest, three other groups show the average inflation rate in the city is lower than in rural areas, which include: food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco; clothing; and health groups. The inflation rate in the city of Manado produces the same patterns with the rate of inflation in the rural areas. The rate of general inflation both in the city of Manado and rural areas is strongly influenced by the inflation rate of seven groups of expenditure for goods and services which consist of foodstuffs, food, clothing, housing, health, education and transport

    Analisis Pemasaran Buah Pepaya di Desa Matungkas Kecamatan Dimembe Kabupaten Minahasa Utara

    This study aimed to describe marketing papaya fruit on each marketing channel in the village Matungkas Village, North Minahasa District. The research was conducted from February to April 2016. The data used are primary data. The research was done by using purposive sampling with the total number of respondents 45 people. Analysis of the data used is descriptive to portray marketing channels and marketing margin analysis and farmer share. The results showed that there are three patterns of marketing channels, namely: (1) marketing channels first (farmer-traders-retailers) with a marketing margin on the first channel of Rp 8.64 million / trip and farmer share of 40.00 percent. (2) a second marketing channel (farmers, retailers, the district / province) with a marketing margin on retailers in the district amounted to Rp 4,200,000 and farmer share of 58.82 percent, while the marketing margin on retailers in the province amounted to Rp 9.6 million / trip and farmer share of 50.00 percent. (3) The third marketing channel (farmer-consumer) with a marketing margin of Rp 2,400,000 and farmer share 100 percent. The most efficient marketing channel is channel marketing and channel marketing two third is the channel which is very profitable for farmers
