    The study aims to determine the completeness of the administration of farmers\u27 groups in North Tomohon Sub-district, Tomohon City. The research was conducted from July to September 2016. The data were used primary data. Sampling method on three (3) groups of farmers in the district of North Tomohon is done by purposive sampling. The variables in this study are the characteristics of the board of farmer group organizations (Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer), characteristics of the farmer group (the name of the farmer groups, year of farmer groups established, and the number of members of farmer groups) and administrative group books. The administration books have two main parts: the books of administrative activities and the books of administration finance. The analysis used for variable administrative and financial administration which each answer is associated with a form of the statement expressed by the words that Good was given Score: 3, Less Good granted Score: 2 and No Good granted Score: 1. The results of this research farmer group that is located relatively far from BP3K Office have good administrative requirements compared to the farmer group that is located very close to BP3K Offuce. That\u27s because a group of farmers near BP3K office has motivation to get funding and the lack of cooperation among the board members in addition to the lack of visitation held by agriculutere extension staf, while the farmer groups that located far from BP3K Office has established with motivated to increase the welfare of members of farmers, the board members has good cooperation and good management. It is also the group always get the attention of the agriculutre extension staf by holding regular visitation to the farmer groups and therefore contributes positively to the administrative requirements for farmers\u27 group

    Strategi Pengembangan Kawasan Agrowisata Rurukan

    The purpose of this research is to identify the right strategy in developing Rurukan agro tourism area. The research location was conducted in two urban villages: Rurukan and Rurukan 1, East Tomohon Subdistrict, Tomohon City. This research was conducted for 3 (three) months from November 2016 to January 2017. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data are data taken through direct observation on site, interview with respondents who selected 10 people to fill out the research questionnaire as follows: Government (3 people), namely Lurah Rurukan, Lurah Rurukan One, and Officials of Tomohon City Tourism Office, Community Shop (2 persons) and Tour Manager (5 persons). Secondary data is data obtained from the offices of two urban villages and Tourism Office. The analytical method used SWOT Analysis. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the development strategy of Rurukan agro tourism area is Rapid growth strategy. This development strategy is in accordance with the position of Rurukan area that needs a progeny strategy to support growth, through several strategies that can be implemented, namely: (1) Utilizing some existing tourism object to attract investors so that it can become a growing tourism sector and interest in Tomohon ; (2) utilizing the famous agro tourism with its trademark to become a cultural development area, especially in Tomohon City; (3) utilizing a good soil fertility level in the Rurukan area to be planted with fruits such as strawberries, which are highland fruit trees to be enjoyed by tourists

    The objective of this research is to determine the profile of entrepreneurs and agroindustry enterprises handicrafts made from coconut shell in Tomohon municipality, and to know benefits achieved in one month. Data collection was conducted for three months, from January 2016 to March 2016. The data obtained are primary data and secondary data. The primary data obtained through interviews to business owners of GM Art in Tomohon. Secondary data were taken from the agencies involved in the research namely Tomohon City Government offices. The results of this study showed that the GM business Art located in Tomohon Tengah sub district, Tomohon municipality began operation in 1999 and began to establish training activities learning - teaching in 2006 until now. Enterprises GM Art operates in the field of small industries that use raw materials of coconut shell and the name of the business owner is Mr Gian Mansa derived from Luwuk Banggai. He has the initiative itself to open a craft business that is made from coconut shell in North Sulawesi, especially in Tomohon Tengah Sub district, Tomohon Municipality, Equipment that is in use Enterprises GM Art at the moment is the use of the machine but with the availability of the engine as an auxiliary key workers business owners have not had those perfect so that business owners create an engineering tool that can create products that are new and can be received by the public. GM Enterprises Art has the profit in January 2016 amounted to Rp. 5.915.392 and uses marketing in form of direct and online marketing

    This study aims to analyze how marketing strategies implemented by PT. Gunung Intan Permata Manado in exporting the nutmeg products in order to compete with other companies. This study uses data obtanined from direct observation and interviews using questionnaires. Data analysis methods used were Matrix of Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), Matrix of External Factor Evaluation (EFE), dan SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats). The results showed that the marketing strategy of nutmeg export applied by PT. Gunung Intan Permata is an aggressive growth strategy (growth oriented strategy). This strategy is a profitable strategy, because the company has the power that can be used to achieve the opportunities that exist. This strategy can be implemented through several alternative strategies, namely maintaining product quality and further tightening quality control to keep nutmeg demand high and maintain product quality and corporate image to maintain good business relationships and customer loyalty

    The purpose of this study are: (1) Identify the supply chain model of coconut desiccated at PT. XYZ and (2) to analyze the supply chain management of desiccated coconut at PT. XYZ. The research was conducted over 2 months ie from September to November 2016 and is located in PT. XYZ (pseudonym), in North Sulawesi. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data. The primary data obtained through field observation and direct interviews. Interviews were conducted with the company related logistics company to find a picture of the supply chain and supply chain management is done by the company. In addition, the researchers also conducted interviews with coconut farmers and collectors to determine the condition of the current coconut price as well as the flow of raw material coconuts from the famers to supplier. Secondary data were obtained from the relevant literature, as well as documents and reports that are owned by companies and agencies. This study focuses on the management of the flow of material and information flow of the supply chain of coconut flour at PT. XYZ. The results of observations and interviews were analyzed with descriptive qualitative analysis methods. The results showed that (1) Members of coconut flour supply chain at. XYZ, namely (a) the raw material supplier of coconut spread in some areas, (b) PT. XYZ for purchasing, sales, shipping and production, (c) Expediting Services to send products from Bitung harbor, next to the port of Tanjung Priok to be exported to the country of destination, (d) The customer, in this case the food companies that require raw materials coconut flour to be produced into chocolate bars, cookies, dessert, and so forth. (2) (a) Selection of supplier PT. XYZ is good enough, because every supplier who will supply the raw material to go through the interview stage, made a deal with the company and agree to the terms proposed by the company. PT. XYZ also maintain good relations with its suppliers with visits annually; (b) the flow of material and information flow is managed by PT. XYZ is good enough. Any information purchasing, sales, shipping and finance centered PT.XYZ headquarters is located in Manado and PT. XYZ manage information about the quantity of raw materials available in the warehouse and general condition of the plant

    The study aims to determine how the role of bank credit in 2011 through 2016 in the agricultural sector in the province of North Sulawesi. The study was conducted in November 2016 until January 2017. The data used is descriptive data of quantitative and qualitative data sources are primary data and secondary data obtained from the events on the ground or opinion of a subject field related to the provision of credit to the agricultural sector, and resources that are not directly provide data to investigators, obtained by way of written documentation regarding matters necessary or variable of Bank Indonesia Representative of North Sulawesi. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis method of data analysis of quantitative and qualitative concerning the description of bank credit to the agricultural sector in the province of North Sulawesi. Analysis of data taken, namely Bank Indonesia report the amount of credit to the agricultural sector of the Year 2011 to the 2016. These descriptive data analysis aims to find bank financing in the agricultural sector in the province of North Sulawesi, which will be presented in the form of tables and graphs as well as to see the development lending. The results showed that the role of bank credit to the agricultural sector in the province of North Sulawesi is increasing every tahunnya dari in 2011 through 2016 with an average growth 14.36%. With the increase in the agricultural sector credit each year, meaning that the banks increasingly trusted by the community to help strengthen the capital of agricultural business operators in this regard in the form of lending

    Analisis Pemasaran Buah Pepaya di Desa Matungkas Kecamatan Dimembe Kabupaten Minahasa Utara

    This study aimed to describe marketing papaya fruit on each marketing channel in the village Matungkas Village, North Minahasa District. The research was conducted from February to April 2016. The data used are primary data. The research was done by using purposive sampling with the total number of respondents 45 people. Analysis of the data used is descriptive to portray marketing channels and marketing margin analysis and farmer share. The results showed that there are three patterns of marketing channels, namely: (1) marketing channels first (farmer-traders-retailers) with a marketing margin on the first channel of Rp 8.64 million / trip and farmer share of 40.00 percent. (2) a second marketing channel (farmers, retailers, the district / province) with a marketing margin on retailers in the district amounted to Rp 4,200,000 and farmer share of 58.82 percent, while the marketing margin on retailers in the province amounted to Rp 9.6 million / trip and farmer share of 50.00 percent. (3) The third marketing channel (farmer-consumer) with a marketing margin of Rp 2,400,000 and farmer share 100 percent. The most efficient marketing channel is channel marketing and channel marketing two third is the channel which is very profitable for farmers

    Persepsi Petani terhadap Peran Penyuluh Pertanian di Desa Rasi Kecamatan Ratahan Kabupaten Minahasa Tenggara

    The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of the role of farmers in the village agricultural extension Rasi, District Ratahan, Southeast Minahasa Regency. The study was implemented for 4 months, namely from March to June 2016. This study uses primary data and secondary data. The primary data obtained through interviews with farmers based on a list of questions (questionnaire), while secondary data obtained from the Office of Agricultural Extension Agency for Fisheries and Forestry (BP3K), District Ratahan, Southeast Minahasa Regency. The sampling method in this study is using a non-probability. Analysis of data using a Likert Scale based on the answers of 25 questions to measure the perception of the role of farmers to extension workers with total respondents as many as 36 people. These results indicate that the total score of the level of farmers' perceptions of the role of agricultural extension for 3678 and are in the perception index of 81 percent, thus the perception of farmers as very good. Perception is in excellent farmers also on an indicator of increased productivity results, level of innovation ease of extension can be easily put into practice, the results of innovation extension can be easily seen or observed, productivity increased output is larger than before farmers using agricultural extension innovation
