Judicial ethics and judicial misbehaviour: two sides of the one coin?

A Belated Interest in Judicial Ethics “Judicial ethics” is a topic that has received close attention in Australia only relatively recently. This is perhaps surprising since the occasional propensity of judges to stray from the path of rectitude and propriety – to which judicial ethics are intended to be an antidote – is hardly a novel phenomenon
