    Risk Based Asset Management (RBAM), or rather Asset Management based on both a perfor-mance requirement and a supporting Risk Analysis, is a beneficial Asset Management methodology for a number of industries, including the Asset Management of infrastructure. In the implementation of RBAM at Rijkswaterstaat a number of challenges have been faced.
