Fieldscapes – Creating and Evaluating a 3D Virtual Field Trip System
This paper describes the concept of the virtual field trip and presents a taxonomy of virtual field trip approaches. Building on the Virtual Skiddaw project between Daden Limited and The Open University, UK, the Innovate UK-funded 'Virtual Field trips as a Service project' is described. The resulting Fieldscapes system is then presented, along with how it addresses the technical, pedagogical and commercial challenges of creating a virtual field trip system. This is followed by an initial evaluation of the system, and areas for future development and research are identified

The entire infrastructure of the software framework will be presented. Planned applications and plug-ins based on the framework are also presented
Deconstructing the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender victim of sex trafficking: Harm, exceptionality and religion–sexuality tensions
Contrary to widespread belief, sex trafficking also targets lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) communities. Contemporary social and political constructions of victimhood lie at the heart of regulatory policies on sex trafficking. Led by the US Department of State, knowledge about LGBT victims of trafficking constitutes the newest frontier in the expansion of criminalization measures. These measures represent a crucial shift. From a burgeoning range of preemptive measures enacted to protect an amorphous class of ‘all potential victims’, now policies are heavily premised on the risk posed by traffickers to ‘victims of special interest’. These constructed identities, however, are at odds with established structures. Drawing on a range of literatures, the core task of this article is to confront some of the complexities and tensions surrounding constructions of LGBT trafficking victims. Specifically, the article argues that discourses of ‘exceptional vulnerability’ and the polarized notions of ‘innocence’ and ‘guilt’ inform hierarchies of victimhood. Based on these insights, the article argues for the need to move beyond monolithic understandings of victims, by reframing the politics of harm accordingly
Soft pion theorem for hard near threshold pion production
We prove new soft pion theorem for the near threshold pion production by a
hard electromagnetic probe. This theorem relates various near threshold pion
production amplitudes to the nucleon distribution amplitudes. The new soft pion
theorem is in a good agreement with the SLAC data for F_2^p(W,Q^2) for W^2 <
1.4 GeV^2 and 7 < Q^2 < 30.7 GeV^2.Comment: 9 pages, revised version, more general analysi
Electro-Magnetic Nucleon Form Factors and their Spectral Functions in Soliton Models
It is demonstrated that in simple soliton models essential features of the
electro-magnetic nucleon form factors observed over three orders of magnitude
in momentum transfer are naturally reproduced. The analysis shows that
three basic ingredients are required: an extended object, partial coupling to
vector mesons, and relativistic recoil corrections. We use for the extended
object the standard skyrmion, one vector meson propagator for both isospin
channels, and the relativistic boost to the Breit frame. Continuation to
timelike leads to quite stable results for the spectral functions in the
regime from the 2- or 3-pion threshold to about two rho masses. Especially the
onset of the continuous part of the spectral functions at threshold can be
reliably determined and there are strong analogies to the results imposed on
dispersion theoretic approaches by the unitarity constraint.Comment: 24 pages, (RevTeX), 5 PS-figures; Data points in fig.2 and

Extended Superscaling of Electron Scattering from Nuclei
An extended study of scaling of the first and second kinds for inclusive
electron scattering from nuclei is presented. Emphasis is placed on the
transverse response in the kinematic region lying above the quasielastic peak.
In particular, for the region in which electroproduction of resonances is
expected to be important, approximate scaling of the second kind is observed
and the modest breaking of it is shown probably to be due to the role played by

Octet-Baryon Form Factors in the Diquark Model
We present an alternative parameterization of the quark-diquark model of
baryons which particularly takes care of the most recent proton electric
form-factor data from the E136 experiment at SLAC. In addition to
electromagnetic form factors of the nucleon, for which good agreement with data
is achieved, we discuss the weak axial vector form factor of the nucleon as
well as electromagnetic form factors of and hyperons.
Technical advance in calculating the pertinent analytic expressions within
perturbative quantum chromodynamics is gained by formulating the wave function
of the quark-diquark system in a covariant way. Finally, we also comment on the
