COPING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC BY ACADEMICS FROM A PUBLIC UNIVERSITY IN BAHIA: AN EXPERIENCE REPORT

Objetivo: descrever a experiência de acadêmicos de uma Universidade Pública na Bahia no enfrentamento à Pandemia da COVID-19 diante da estratégia do distanciamento social orientados pelas autoridades. Relato de experiência: O presente relato busca evidenciar as experiências vividas em decorrência da pandemia de covid-19, causada pelo vírus Sars-cov2, no Brasil. Abordando as mudanças nos hábitos e rotina para se proteger desse, até então, novo contexto. Resultados: a vivência da pandemia exigiu que as pessoas de forma obrigatória ficassem isoladas, construísse um cotidiano fora da normalidade, o que tem afetado de forma trágica a saúde mental por meio desta realidade experienciada. Diante deste modus operandi, atividades online foram necessárias para a execução das ações, o que exige uma transformação do agir. Há ainda elementos que se apresentam de forma distorcida, que contribui para um agravamento da situação, dentre elas a economia como prioridade em detrimento da vida das pessoas. Considerações finais: No Brasil, o panorama trazido pela pandemia significou além da ruptura das atividades rotineiras, através deste novo cenário foi possível perceber com ainda mais clareza os problemas estruturais que assolam o país desde seu desenvolvimento. Objective: describe the experience of academics from a Public University in Bahia in coping the COVID-19 Pandemic in the face of the strategy of social distancing guided by the authorities. Experience Report: The present report seeks to highlight the experiences of the covid-19 pandemic caused by the Sars-cov2 virus in Brazil. It addresses the changes in habits and routine to protect oneself from this, until then, new context. Results: the experience of the pandemic required people to be isolated in an obligatory way, to build a daily life outside of normality, which has tragically affected mental health through this experienced reality. In view of this modus operandi, online activities were necessary for the execution of actions, which requires a transformation of action. There are also elements that present themselves in a distorted way, which contributes to a worsening of the situation, among them the economy as a priority at the expense of people's lives.Final considerations: In Brazil, the panorama brought by the pandemic meant beyond the rupture of routine activities, through this new scenario it was possible to perceive with even more clarity the structural problems that devastate the country since its
