Defining the causes of sporadic Parkinson's disease in the global Parkinson's genetics program (GP2)
The Global Parkinson's Genetics Program (GP2) will genotype over 150,000 participants from around the world, and integrate genetic and clinical data for use in large-scale analyses to dramatically expand our understanding of the genetic architecture of PD. This report details the workflow for cohort integration into the complex arm of GP2, and together with our outline of the monogenic hub in a companion paper, provides a generalizable blueprint for establishing large scale collaborative research consortia

A new multistakeholder cooperative formula: the social cooperative
El modelo cooperativo tradicional está basado en un solo tipo de miembros: usuarios, productores o trabajadores. Pero recientemente, han surgido otras fórmulas cooperativas, en respuesta a nuevas necesidades sociales, en particular en el campo de los servicios sociales y del desarrollo local y sustentable. Estas cooperativas integran diferentes categorÃas de miembros: usuarios, trabajadores, voluntarios, organismos de apoyo. En este artÃculo se describen tres casos de cooperativas sociales: las Cooperativas Sociales italianas, las Cooperativas de Solidaridad en Québec y las Sociedades Cooperativas de Interés Colectivo francesas. Se presenta su proceso de emergencia, las nuevas leyes que regulan estas cooperativas, los principales sectores de actividad en que se han desarrollado. dimensions of the laws that regulate them, their principal sectors of activity, and briefly analyses their contribution to economic and social development

En Uruguay las cooperativas de vivienda representan un actor importante en el campo de la construcción residencial, y un aporte original a la
solución del problema del acceso a la vivienda para las clases populares. Surgido en la década 1960, el movimiento cooperativo ha construido miles de viviendas para las familias de los sectores populares. También se ha constituido en un importante movimiento social, con la creación de federaciones nacionales. En este artÃculo se analizan las principales caracterÃsticas del modelo uruguayo de cooperativas de vivienda: su contexto de emergencia, su evolución, y se analizan los principales factores de su é[email protected] Uruguay, the housing co-operatives represent an important actor in the field of housing, and it has made a significant contribution to solve the problem of the access of low or middlelow income families to a decent dwelling. It has built thousands of houses since su creation in the sixties. Il has become a strong social movement, with the founding of nacional federations of housing co-operatives. In this paper, we analyze the principal characteristics of the uruguayan model of housing co-operatives, the context of its emergence, its evolution, and the principal reasons of its success
The day-care centers in Quebec: from the experimentation to the institutionalization
En las sociedades modernas, la incorporación de las mujeres al
mercado de trabajo genera una nueva necesidad de socialización de los
servicios de atención a lo niños. Existen diversos modelos de respuesta a
esta necesidad en las diferentes sociedades. Este artÃculo presenta el caso
de la provincia de Quebec, en Canadá. Describe el proceso de emergencia
de guarderÃas autogestionarias, creadas por grupos de usuarios, y las
diferentes etapas de la lucha de un movimiento social que han llevado a un
reconocimiento por el Estado de estas iniciativas. Se describen brevemente
la estructura y el funcionamiento de estas guarderÃas administradas por
sus usuarios, con participación de su personal, y financiamiento público.
En una tercera parte, se presentan diversas perspectivas de análisis sobre

market generates a new need of socialization of the services of attention to
children. Diverse models of response exist to this need in the different
societies. This article presents the case of the province of Quebec, in Canada.
It describes the emergency process of day-care centers autogestionarias,
created by user groups, and the different stages of the fight of a social
movement that have led to a recognition for the State of these initiatives.
