We describe the statistical and health economics plan that has been developed to analyse the CLAHRC Specialist Mood Disorder Randomised Controlled Trial. It is more detailed account of the analysis outlined in the published protocol (Morriss R,  Marttunnen S, Garland A, Nixon N, McDonald R, Sweeney T, et al. Randomised controlled trial of the clinical and cost effectiveness of a specialist team for managing refractory unipolar depressive disorder.
