    A conceptual analysis of the terms knowledge, learning, and language, was conducted order to examine their interrelationships and logical functions for the understanding of behavior. Knowledge and learning are dispositional concepts. Knowing has two different meanings, as declarative knowing and as performative knowing; both corresponding to "capacity" concepts. On the other hand, learning is used as an episodic-achievement concept. I distinguish three different general functions of language and I examine how language and knowledge depend upon the participating language modes
