Hubungan Kepemimpinan Camat dengan Efektivitas Kerja Pegawai ( Studi di Kecamatan Tobelo, Kabupaten Halmahera Utara)
This research was conducted with the starting point at the underlying problem, namely whether there is a relationship between leadership effectiveness with the performance ofemployees in district Office Tobelo North Halmahera, with the primary objective to determine therelationship between leadership effectiveness and the performance of employees in district OfficeTobelo North Halmahera. This type of research is survey research, using quantitative and descriptive approach study. Researchvariable is leadership at district and sub-district Employee Performance Tobelo North Halmahera.were collected techniques and informant questionnaires distributed to 20 respondents and analyzedusing simple linear regression analysis techniques.Based on the analysis, it is known that the distribution of respondents on the variable districtemployee performance and leadership in the category of agree and strongly agree. Thus it can beconcluded that the relationship between leadership effectiveness performance of employees in districtOffice Tobelo North Halmahera. Her relationship is so strong that if leader well, then the employee'sperformance will also be good; otherwise if the leader less effective in leading it will affect theperformance of sub-district office employees
Neuronal pentraxin II is highly upregulated in Parkinson’s disease and a novel component of Lewy bodies
Neuronal pentraxin II (NPTX2) is the most highly upregulated gene in the Parkinsonian substantia nigra based on our whole genome expression profiling results. We show here that it is a novel component of Lewy bodies and Lewy neurites in sporadic Parkinson’s disease (PD). NPTX2 is also known as the neuronal activity-regulated protein (Narp), which is secreted and involved in long-term neuronal plasticity. Narp further regulates AMPA receptors which have been found to mediate highly selective non-apoptotic cell death of dopaminergic neurons. NPTX2/Narp is found in close association with alpha-synuclein aggregates in both substantia nigra and cerebral cortex in PD but unlike alpha-synuclein gene expression, which is down-regulated in the Parkinsonian nigra, NPTX2 could represent a driver of the disease process. In view of its profound (>800%) upregulation and its established role in synaptic plasticity as well as dopaminergic nerve cell death, NPTX2 is a very interesting novel player which is likely to be involved in the pathway dysregulation which underlies PD

National Network of Depression Centers\u27 Recommendations on Harmonizing Clinical Documentation of Electroconvulsive Therapy
Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is a highly therapeutic and cost-effective treatment for severe and/or treatment-resistant major depression. However, because of the varied clinical practices, there is a great deal of heterogeneity in how ECT is delivered and documented. This represents both an opportunity to study how differences in implementation influence clinical outcomes and a challenge for carrying out coordinated quality improvement and research efforts across multiple ECT centers. The National Network of Depression Centers, a consortium of 26+ US academic medical centers of excellence providing care for patients with mood disorders, formed a task group with the goals of promoting best clinical practices for the delivery of ECT and to facilitate large-scale, multisite quality improvement and research to advance more effective and safe use of this treatment modality. The National Network of Depression Centers Task Group on ECT set out to define best practices for harmonizing the clinical documentation of ECT across treatment centers to promote clinical interoperability and facilitate a nationwide collaboration that would enable multisite quality improvement and longitudinal research in real-world settings. This article reports on the work of this effort. It focuses on the use of ECT for major depressive disorder, which accounts for the majority of ECT referrals in most countries. However, most of the recommendations on clinical documentation proposed herein will be applicable to the use of ECT for any of its indications
Study of the K+- to pi+- gamma gamma decay by the NA62 experiment
A study of the dynamics of the rare decay has been performed on a sample of 232 decay candidates, with an estimated background of events, collected by the NA62 experiment at CERN in 2007. The results are combined with those from a measurement conducted by the NA48/2 collaboration at CERN. The combined model-independent branching ratio in the kinematic range is , and the combined branching ratio in the full kinematic range assuming a Chiral Perturbation Theory description is . A detailed comparison of the results with the previous measurements is performed.A study of the dynamics of the rare decay has been performed on a sample of 232 decay candidates, with an estimated background of events, collected by the NA62 experiment at CERN in 2007. Temperament and parental child-rearing style: unique contributions to clinical anxiety disorders in childhood
Both temperament and parental child-rearing style are found to be associated with childhood anxiety disorders in population studies. This study investigates the contribution of not only temperament but also parental child-rearing to clinical childhood anxiety disorders. It also investigates whether the contribution of temperament is moderated by child-rearing style, as is suggested by some studies in the general population. Fifty children were included (25 with anxiety disorders and 25 non-clinical controls). Child-rearing and the child’s temperament were assessed by means of parental questionnaire (Child Rearing Practices Report (CRPR) (Block in The Child-Rearing Practices Report. Institute of Human Development. University of California, Berkely, 1965; The Child-Rearing Practices Report (CRPR): a set of Q items for the description of parental socialisation attitudes and values. Unpublished manuscript. Institute of Human Development. University of California, Berkely, 1981), EAS Temperament Survey for Children (Boer and Westenberg in J Pers Assess 62:537–551, 1994; Buss and Plomin in Temperament: early developing personality traits. Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, Inc, Hillsdale, 1984s). Analysis of variance showed that anxiety-disordered children scored significantly higher on the temperamental characteristics emotionality and shyness than non-clinical control children. Hierarchical logistic regression analyses showed that temperament (emotionality and shyness) and child-rearing style (more parental negative affect, and less encouraging independence of the child) both accounted for a unique proportion of the variance of anxiety disorders. Preliminary results suggest that child-rearing style did not moderate the association between children’s temperament and childhood anxiety disorders. The limited sample size might have been underpowered to assess this interaction
