    Each laboratory officers who handle blood or human body fluids potentially infected, the risk of exposure or getting injury. Therefore, in the implementation of laboratory services are always required SOP as a handle for the officer to reduce the occurrence of infectious diseases. Standard operating procedure is a method written as fundamental guidance to prevent the risks of infection for laboratory officers. This research aimed to determine correlation between knowledges and attitudes of RSUD Arifin Achmad Riau Province clinical pathology laboratory officers toward Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) implementation of Infectious material management. This is an analityc survey study with cross-sectional method. Samples obatained by total sampling method based on inclusion criteria as many as 34 laboratory officers.This research showed 17 people (50%) have sufficient knowledge, 18 people (52.9%) have a negative attitude and 25 people (73.5%) implements SOP. Data processed by using Chi-Square test has been found that there was no significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes on clinical pathology laboratory officers toward Standard operating procedure (SOP) implementation of infectious material management in RSUD Arifin Achmad Riau Province

    Nutrition in the early adolescents is a matter that must be considered. Many impacts that will be experienced by adolescents when malnutrition. Adolescents who are malnutrition will affect reproduction, in adolescent who experience obesity will be at risk of degenerative diseases. The purpose of this study is to describe the nutritional status of SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru. This research were 290 students from grade VII and VIII consisting of 100 boys and 190 girls were taken with quota sampling technique. Data were colected by questionnaire filled out by respondents to assess student characteristics data and calculate BMI by measuring weight and height to get nutritionaly measuring weight and height to get nutritional status of students. Nutritional status is divided into malnutrition, underweight, normal, overweight and obesity based on standard anthropometric indicators BMI per age. The result of this study a normal nutritional status is 172 students (59%), followed by the nutritional status of overweight were 66 students (23%), obesity were 29 students (10%), underweight were 19 students (7%) and malnutrition were 4 students (1%).

    Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is an directly infectious disease caused by the bcateria Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which the transmission is through droplet in the air (droplet nuclei) when people with TB coughs or sneezes. Families who live at home with TB patients have a greater risk for contracting tb because can not avoid direct contact with TB patients. Prevention of transmission TB that can be done by family including, remind TB patients to shut the mouth every time when coughing or sneezing, remind TB patients to dispose of sputum in a special place that is closed, immediately check-up if there are symptoms of TB, open the window every day, sunning the and pillows regularly every day, maintaining personal hygiene and environment, consume the nutrisious food,etc. The research design was a cross sectional analytic and used the questionnaire as a research instrument, samples taken with accidental sampling techniqu, and the number of samples that included in inclusion criteria,were 30 samples, the results showed that the most respondents have good knowledge about pulmonary TB (56,7%), and most respondents did good precaution to pulmonary TB transmission (53,3%), and there is a relationship between knowledge with precaution pulmonary TB transmission, with siqnificancy= 0,04. So it can be concluded that the knowledge of pulmonary TB may affect precaution of pulmonary TB transmission

    Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is a lung parenchyma infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and transmission through droplet. New case of TB is a patient who has never had treatment for TB or who has taken anti-TB drugs for less than one month. Cured is patient who was completed treatment with sputum smear-negative in the last month of treatment and at least on one previous occasion. This research was a descriptive study using retrospective appoarchment, which was conducted in the TB-01 form and ward patients. Sample collected from 36 patients that included in inclusion criteria. The results showed that patients new case of pulmonary tuberculosis declared cured in lung department of arifin achmad hospital showed large proportion in the age group 35-44 and 45-54 years (respectively 22,2%), the most gender is male (55,6%), most level education is senior high school (58,3%), most work is entrepreneur (77,7%),most drugs swallowing control (PMO) is any PMO (86,1%), most regularity of taking medicine is regularly (61,1%), most regimen anti tuberculosis is KDT/FDC (94,4%), most sputum reexamination is disobedience (58,3%), and most BTA (basil tahan asam) inspection result is BTA (+) (100%)

    The treatment observers is an important role for the success of DOTS strategy. Treatment observers is usually come from patients who will give a boost to the patient in order to improve patient compliance in taking medicine and regularing the treatment. TB cases in Pekanbaru city is still high with a low cure rate from the national average. This study is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results showed a treatment role in improving medication adherence for patients with tuberculosis case is to accompany and supervise the patient every day, accompany the patient to the health center, remind patients to take medicine at night, give encouragement and support to patients, remind patients to examine repeated sputum, provide guidance to patients, and carry patients to doctor in case of side effects

    Primary school students are the group of student that potentially having problem with nutrition due to their eating behavior and development status. Good nutritional status will affect the growth and development of children, one of which can increase the intellectual capability. This study aimed to determine the overview of nutritional status of children in elementary school on district Bangko Rokan Hilir regency. This research is a descriptive study. The subject in this research were 210 students from grade 1 – 6 were taken with cluster sampling technique. Each of the subject asked to bring questionnaires to the parent to get the characteristic data of the student and then calculated children BMI by measuring height and weight. Nutritional status is divided into very thin, thin, normal, obese and very obese, based on anthropometric indices with BIM per age. The data showed that children with malnutrition were 50 children (23,8%), underweight were 58 children (27,6%), normal were 93 children (44,3%), overweight were 7 children (3,3%), and obesity were 2 children (1,0%)

    Nutrition is one of the important factors that determine the level of health and harmony between physical and mental development. During development of the child, nutritional adequacy is absolute thing that must always be considered by parent. School children in general are in a period of very rapid growth, that nutrition plays an important role in the development of the child. The aim of this study was to describe the nutritional status of elementary school students in the district Rangsang Kepulauan Meranti, so that further action can be done if it is found that if the nutrition problem requires intervention by the parties concerned. This is a descriptive study using cluster sampling method which number of samples obtained are 210 people who carried out the calculation of BMI by measuring height and weight. Retrieving data using anthropometric methods based on the table KEPMENKES No. 1995 / Menkes / SK / XII / 2010 on Standards Anthropometric Assessment Nutritional Status of Children with BMI per age, then the nutritional status divided into malnutrition, underweight, normal, overweight and obese. The results obtained normal nutritional status as the highest value are 151 (71.9%), nutritional status of underweight are 26 people (12.4%), nutritional status is malnutrition are 13 people (6.2%), nutritional status overweight are 13 people (6.2%) and obesity nutritional status of 7 people (3.3%)
