Aplikasi Kendali Fuzzy Logic Untuk Pengaturan Kecepatan

This paper present the application of fuzyy logic control for universal motor speed control. Fuzzy logic control is implemented on a personal computer, while the program is made in Pascal. The speed control is done by adjusting motor voltage and using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Method. The loading on the motor is executed mechanical braking. The system feedback is a signal frequency from tacho, which is, then changed into voltage for computer input through ADC. Fuzzy logic system applies two crisps of input: error and error chage of the motor speed; and an output crisp, i.e. voltage change. The dufuzzification methods used are mean of maxima and center of area. The numbers of rules vary based on the numbers of the label used. The system response is displayed by graphic of the motor speed toward time. The testing result showed that the membership functions in triangle and trapezoid forms did not contribute significant influence to the system response; between the two methods of defuzzification, the center area was better than the mean of maxima; and the system response will be much bettter if more membership functions were used

Facial Landmark Detection Using Affine Graph Matching and a Genetic Search Algorithm

This paper proposes a method that finds landmark points on the face, which is one of the main tasks in a face recognition system. Salient facial landmark detection is important because it enables face normalization and leads to size and orientation invariant face recognition. The presented approach is based on an affine graph matching technique and uses a genetic algorithm to perform the search. The feasibility of our methodology for detection tasks related to face landmark point detection has been deployed using the ORL face image database. Experiments show satisfactory results under relatively wide conditions. The GA searching approach is essential because it effectively searches the solution space.

Modul Bi-lingual Untuk Televisi Dengan Menggunakan SAA7283ZP Yang Diatur Lewat I2C Dari 80C31

At the moment, in Indonesia has been able to enjoy NICAM (Near Instantaneous Companded Audio Multiplex ) technology within the television world. Television without NICAM facility, however, can receive the broadcast of the transmitter with NICAM technology, although it emits mono audio signal only. To receive broadcast with NICAM audio quality, TV audience, therefore has to buy a new set of television equipped with NICAM facility. Dealing with the problem, a module that can externally added to the television was made so that the audience of television with non-NICAM technology can enjoy the system itself. The module used the single chip NICAM decoder SAA7283ZP of Phillips semiconductor that can be adjusted using microcontroller software. The module receives IF signal taken from TV tuner and separates the audio and video signal present. SAA7283ZP controlled by 8031via I2C that is stimulated by 2 pin port 1, then takes and processes the audio 'data' . The output of the process is entered in a separated audio system, the testing result conceals that the occuring error is mostly influenced by the quality of RF signal received by the television set. This result is obviously seen as the testing system employs indoor and outdoor antennas. Besides that, improper grounding the system also affects the module in processing the NICAM signal

Perancangan Dan Pembuatan Adapter Penghubung Keyboard IBM PS/2 Dengan Port USB Personal Computer

Universal Serial Bus (USB) as a new interface especially on Personal Computer (PC) has become a standard for interfacing many devices to PC such as printer, scanner, mouse, webcam, etc. In this paper, a device that can be recognized by USB host and communicate through USB port correctly was developed. It has been implemented by making an adapter therefore IBM PS/2 keyboard could be recognized and operated in a USB environment. The device used a PDIUSBD12 USB interface IC which handle USB protocol and an AT89C2051 microcontroller which handle all incoming or outgoing data from and to PDIUSBD12 or keyboard. The device has been tested and proven capable of handling enumeration process and transfer data from keyboard to PC via a USB port. Although the device didn\u27t support all functions of the keys, but the main keys worked normally on pressing one key or even combination keys. Keywords : Universal Serial Bus, PS/2 Keyboard Adapter to USB port, PDIUSBD12

Reduksi Noise Akustik Secara Aktif Dengan Metode Filtered-X Least Mean Square

The paper describes an implementation of an active noice canceller by using the algorithm of Filtered-X Least Mean Square (Filtered-X LMS). The system was implemented on a digital signal processor starter kit of TMS 320C50. The system was equipped with 2 speakers as sound source and noise source and microphones as sound sensors. The processor controlled the noise by generating an anti-noise sound trying to cancelled the noise so that the total noise would be reduced. The experimental results shows the system could reduce noise with the level of 20 dBV

Aplikasi Embedded Internet Pada Vending Machine Menggunakan Microprocessor Rabbit RCM3200

The paper describes development of an embedded vending machine equipped with an Internet connection. The machine could be monitored and controlled remotely via Internet to perform temperature montoring and selling transaction monitoring. This embedded vending machine system consist of two parts, which are an vending machine connected to Rabbitcore module and an administrator/main computer. The software deployed at Rabbitcore module was written in Dynamic C. The administrator computer was running an Apache Web Server, PHP and MySQL database server. The experiment was conducted by connecting the system to the local area network which is connected to the Internet Administrator computer could monitor the up to date information like temperature and selling transaction data. The system was successfully being monitored from the Internet

Pelacakan Dan Estimasi Pose Video Wajah 3 Dimensi

The paper describes a face tracking and pose estimation system by using a webcamera. A 3D wireframe face model was used in conjunction with a feature tracking method of Lucas-Kanade. A set of face feature points was tracked in every video frame by using Lucas-Kanade method. A fully projective method was depployed for face pose estimation. This application was built using Microsoft Visual C 6.0®%2C Microsoft® DirectShow®%2C Intel Performance Library and Open Source Computer Vision (OpenCV) Library. The application has been implemented and able to track the face movement in real time (30 frames/second)%2C using webcam with the resolution of 320?240 pixel/frame on PC Pentium III/533 MHz. The system is prospective to be used for human-computer interaction applications as well as face expression recognition system

Galilee: an Internet Web Based Distance Learning Support System

This paper presents a project of Web-based Distance Learning support system. The system has been built based on the Internet and World Wide Web facility. The system could be accessed with a web browser which is directed to a certain web server address so that students can do learning process just like in the real situation, such as student admissions, taking course materials, syllabus, assignments, students grades, class discussions through web, and doing online quizzes. Students could also join collaboration works by giving opinions, feedback and student produced paper/web which can be shared to the entire learning community. Therefore, it will build a collaborative learning environment where lectures together with students make constructive knowledge databases for entire learning community. This system has been developed based on Active Server Pages (ASP) technology from Microsoft which is embedded in a web server. Web pages reside in a web server which is connected to an SQL Database Server. Database server is used to store structured data such as lectures/students personal information, course lists, syllabus and its descriptions, announcement texts from lecturers, commentaries for discussion forum, student's study evaluations, scores for each assignment, quizzes for each course, assignments text from lectures, assignments which are collected by students and students contribution/materials. This system has been maintained by an administrator for maintaining and developing web pages using HTML. The administrator also does ASP scripts programming to convert web pages into active server pages. Lectures and students could contribute some course materials and share their ideas through their web browser. This web-based collaborative learning system gives the students more active role in the information gathering and learning process, making the distance students feel part of a learning community, therefore increasing motivation, comprehension and interaction with other students
