Ensino de sistemas operativos num curso pré-profissionalizante - operador de informática : atividades de instalação e configuração

Relatório da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, Mestrado em Ensino de Informática, Universidade de Lisboa, Instituto de Educação, 2022O presente resumo visa descrever a intervenção que realizei numa escola secundária em Ponta Delgada, (Região Autónoma dos Açores) na turma FP2 do Curso Pré Profissionalizante Operador de Informática, curso direcionado a alunos com necessidades educativas especiais. Os cursos pré-profissionalizantes são uma modalidade de ensino que permite aos alunos concluírem o 3.º ciclo do ensino básico numa vertente profissionalizante, que decorre ao longo de três anos, não existe correspondência com o regular, no que concerne a ano escolar, visto ser possível concluir o curso em menos tempo que o 3.º ciclo do ensino básico regular. A intervenção baseou-se na planificação do domínio de formação Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação, na unidade de competência: instalação e configuração de redes locais, delineados pela escola, que se inspiram no quadro de qualificações profissionais. O curso é programado pela escola onde é lecionado, devido às características especiais e particulares dos alunos que dele fazem parte, apresentando elevadas taxas de insucesso, retenção, problemas cognitivos e de aprendizagem. A intervenção decorreu durante 5 aulas num total de 720 minutos (12 horas). Na minha perspetiva ensinando se aprende por isso propus um desafio aos alunos, a realização de um manual individual, com a explicação sobre o processo de como instalar e configurar os Sistemas Operativos Windows 10 e Windows Server 2019 virtualizados. Considerei pertinente perceber se a intervenção em redes de computadores, nomeadamente na instalação do Windows 10 e do Windows Server 2019, contribuiu para mudar a expectativa e a perspetiva dos alunos sobre as Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação. Para tal, recorri à aplicação de um questionário e entrevista com o objetivo de recolher a opinião dos alunos. Através da análise das grelhas de avaliação, dos questionários e manual, foi possível avaliar se os alunos atingiram os objetivos descritos na planificação. Os métodos utilizados para expor a matéria foram o expositivo, demonstrativo e interrogativo. Na avaliação do Manual, foi analisado se cumpria os objetivos, a sequência lógica, clareza e articulação do conteúdo, continuidade, correção ortográfica, descrição correta dos conteúdos, apresentação do tema, estrutura do trabalho/organização e se o nome do ficheiro foi o adequado.The present paper aims to describe the intervention that I carried out in a secondary school in Ponta Delgada, (Autonomous Region of the Azores) in class FP2 of the Pre-Professionalizing Course Operator of Informatics, a course directed to students with special educational needs. Pre-professional courses are a teaching modality that allows students to complete the 3rd cycle of basic education in a professional aspect, which takes place over three years, there is no correspondence with the regular one, regarding the school year, the course can be completed in less time than the 3rd cycle of regular basic education. The intervention was based on the planning of the Information and Communication Technologies training domain, on the competence unit: installation and configuration of local networks, outlined by the school, based on the professional qualifications, the course is programmed by the school where it is taught, due to the educational needs and particular characteristics of the students who are part of it, students have high rates of failure, retention, cognitive and learning problems. The intervention took place during five classes for a total of 720 minutes (12 hours). In my perspective, by teaching we learn so I proposed a challenge to the students, the realization of an individual manual, with the explanation about the process of how to install and configure the Operating Systems Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019 virtualized. I considered it pertinent to understand if the intervention in networks of computers, namely in the installation of Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019, contributed to changing students' expectations and perspectives on Information and Communication Technologies. For this purpose, I used a questionnaire and an interview to collect the students' opinions. Through the analysis of the evaluation grids, questionnaires, and manual, it was possible to assess whether the students reached the objectives described in the planning. The methods used to expose the material were expository, demonstrative and interrogative. The Manual, I analysed if the objectives where fulfilled, if it had a logical sequence, clarity and articulation of the content, continuity, spelling correction, description of the content, presentation of the theme, work structure/organization and whether the file name was appropriate
