Cavitating propeller flows predicted by RANS solver with structured grid and small reynolds number turbulence model approach

Within the EU research project VIRTUE, a propeller is investigated in uniform and nonuniform inflow conditions by means of a RANS equation solver, FINFLO. The analyses are made in wetted and cavitating conditions. The propeller analyzed in this paper is the INSEAN E779A propeller. The paper contains calculations at three different grid resolutions in wetted conditions and at the two finest grid resolutions in cavitating conditions in uniform inflow. The mediumsize grid is used for the propeller in nonuniform inflow simulations. The simulations are conducted on a model scale and the results are compared with the measurements and cavitation tests performed by INSEAN. The nonuniform inflow is generated by modeling the geometry of the artificial wake generator used in the cavitation tests in the calculation domain. The experimental results are published in several papers, for example in [1] and [2]. The predicted propeller open water thrust and torque are found to be within 5 % of the measured ones. The pressure peak at the leading edge of a blade is found to be sensitive to the grid resolution. The predicted cavitation behavior of the propeller blades is in reasonable accordance with the cavitation test observations. In uniform inflow the vaporized region is overpredicted. Contrastingly, the vaporized region is Underpredicted in the nonuniform inflow calculations. Side entrant jets could be identified in the cavity region in the nonuniform inflow simulations. The predicted vaporized regions in several blade positions together with photographs of the cavitating propeller are shown for comparison. The cavitation behavior trends seemed to be similar in the simulations and observations in nonuniform inflow, except that the rollup of detached sheet cavitation into a tip vortex could not be captured in the calculations. The total wake is measured between the propeller plane and the wake generator. The predicted wake is found to be too strong, but the width of the wake is relatively close to the measurements. The propeller loading history is shown over one propeller revolution. It shows qualitatively reasonable trends. The loading histories of the wetted and cavitating propeller are almost the same due to the relative small cavitating region in the investigated conditions. Pancasila Sebagai Asal Mula Ideologi Bangsa dan Negara Indonesia Terhadap Nilai-Nilai Kebangsaan

Abstract The important role of Pancasila as an ideological root for the nation and state of Indonesia in maintaining strong national values. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of Pancasila in shaping Indonesian national identity, identify the national values ​​recognized by Pancasila, and describe the research methods used to collect and analyze data. This study uses historical analysis approaches and literature studies to investigate the development of the concept of Pancasila as Indonesia's main ideology. Analyzing historical texts, important speeches, and works by national figures, this research reveals the evolution and meaning of national values ​​inherent in Pancasila. The results of the study show that Pancasila has served as the ideological foundation that underlies Indonesian national identity. Values ​​such as unity, mutual cooperation, democracy, and belief in one and only God have proven to be the main pillars in shaping the character of the nation and state. Also revealed that Pancasila continues to be relevant in facing the challenges of modern times, which confirms Indonesia's commitment to diversity and inclusivity. The conclusion is that Pancasila has a central role in shaping and maintaining Indonesian national values. So that Pancasila remains a strong foundation to guide the direction of the development of the Indonesian nation and state towards the future. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran Pancasila dalam membentuk identitas kebangsaan Indonesia, mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai kebangsaan yang diakui oleh Pancasila, serta menguraikan metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis historis dan studi literatur untuk menyelidiki perkembangan konsep Pancasila sebagai ideologi utama Indonesia. Menganalisis terhadap teks-teks sejarah, pidato-pidato penting, dan karya-karya tokoh-tokoh nasional, penelitian ini mengungkap evolusi dan pemaknaan nilai-nilai kebangsaan yang melekat dalam Pancasila. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pancasila telah berperan sebagai fondasi ideologis yang mendasari identitas kebangsaan Indonesia. Nilai-nilai seperti persatuan, gotong royong, demokrasi, dan ketuhanan yang maha esa terbukti menjadi pilar utama dalam membentuk karakter bangsa dan negara. Juga mengungkapkan bahwa Pancasila terus relevan dalam menghadapi tantangan zaman modern, yang menegaskan komitmen Indonesia terhadap keberagaman dan inklusivitas. Kesimpulanya bahwa Pancasila memiliki peran sentral dalam membentuk dan mempertahankan nilai-nilai kebangsaan Indonesia. Sehingga Pancasila tetap menjadi pijakan yang kuat untuk memandu arah perkembangan bangsa dan negara Indonesia menuju masa depan. The Social Media Dominance: Ukraine’s Key Strategy in the Information War Against the Russian Invasion

Russia once again invaded Ukraine in early 2022 by deploying thousands of troops and mobilizing thousands of tanks and other weapons. The attack, which began in February, covered areas along the eastern border of Ukraine. As Ukraine realized that its military power was imbalanced with Russia, it applied information warfare techniques by dominating social media content. This study aims to analyze Ukraine's success in using social media as a tool to combat Russian invasion through social media domination. This research used the descriptive – qualitative method.  The data were obtained from the information that were determined which were then analyzed by qualitative method. Netwar theory and propaganda theory are used to analyze this study. The results of this study show that Ukraine has utilized social media to fight against Russia's invasion and has achieved significant success in garnering global support. Social media domination has played a crucial role in Ukraine's efforts to win the support of countries worldwide. The use of humanitarian issues has been heavily emphasized in social media content to condemn Russia's actions. The impact of such content has resulted in a sharp decline in support for Russia. Misinformation spread through social media has also contributed to the decline in support
