    This study aims to determine the benefits of a web application in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of services to lecturers. The research method consists of literature study and data collection analysis based on observations. Implementing a web application, an observation is conducted followed by a comparison on data prior to the implementation.     The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the use of a web application to improve efficiency and effectiveness of administrative work. The research method used consisted of the analysis phase, study libraries to support application design and data collection based on observations. Results of evaluation and observation data before and after implementation of the system showed that the use of a web application to improve efficiency and effectiveness of administrative work, e.g. by decreasing the length of time the making of letter, an increase in the percentage of the making of timeliness, accuracy of data validation and provide facilities for students in order letter as well as convenience for staff in the making of letter. Another thing is the ease in monitoring the accuracy of the making of letter

      Agar tujuan dari Perusahaan dapat tercapai, maka investor perlu memastikan investasi yang dilakukan oleh Perusahaan akan memberikan keuntungan atau tidak. Dalam penelitian berjudul "Studi Kelayakan Investasi Pendirian SPBU di Monang-Maning" ini, dimaksudkan untuk menganalisis kelayakan investasi pendirian SPBU di Monang-Maning. Untuk mengukur kelayakan aspek keuangan penulis menggunakan kriteria penilaian berupa Payback Period, Net Present Value, Profitability Index, dan Internal Rate of Return. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan investasi pendirian SPBU di Monang-Maning ini layak ditinjau dari aspek hukum, aspek lingkungan, aspek pasar dan pemasaran, aspek teknis dan teknologi, aspek manajemen dan SDM. Pada aspek keuangan diperoleh Payback Period 3 tahun 6 hari, NPV sebesar Rp.60.884.639.852,75, PI sebesar 7,118, IRR sebesar 38,208 persen.     Web Based Organizing and the Management of Human Resources

    The paper focuses on the consequences of web-based business-to-business transactions in medium and large old economy companies in particular and discusses the implications for HRM and HR professionals. Medium and large old economy companies can be involved in transactions within the new economy in different ways. First of all the paper gives an overview of the striking characteristics that distinguish web-based transactions from more traditional transactions. The paper continues with an overview of the different ways in which old economy companies are attempting to integrate elements of web-based organizing into their current business and the implications of it for human resources management. Three different ways of integration are distinguished: -Seeing the Net as an extension of normal market channels for buying and selling. -Using the Net to expand and improve current co-makership relationships amongst key suppliers (section 4). -Totally re-thinking business models before deciding on e-commerce strategy and practice, which implies desegregation and organizational revolution.     La enseñanza y el aprendizaje formalizado de los números irracionales en la formación inicial de profesores de secundaria son problemáticos. Un análisis histórico y epistemológico de la noción de número irracional, sirve de base para enmarcar un estudio empírico, con estudiantes para profesor, que indaga el proceso de construcción de la noción de cardinalidad del conjunto de los números irracionales y la densidad de en R\Q en R. El estudio se realiza por medio de algunos elementos teóricos del enfoque ontosemiótico del conocimiento de y de la instrucción matemáticos. La identificación, por parte del estudiante, de la cardinalidad de conjuntos infinitos, hace posible la emergencia de fenómenos relativos a los cardinales transfinitos, determinándose diferentes tipos de errores y conflictos cognitivos

[http://enfoqueontosemiotico.ugr.es/]Se estudian algunos conflictos semióticos asociadas al proceso de visualización de los números irracionales con estudiantes de 14-15 años de Educación Secundaria y docentes de Matemáticas en formación inicial, mediante el enfoque ontológico y semiótico del conocimiento y la instrucción matemáticos. Se observa un fenómeno de mimetismo ostensivo asociado a la búsqueda de periodicidad y aperiodicidad numérica, de algunos números reales expresados en notación decimal. Este fenómeno obedece a cuestiones normativas (contrato didáctico), cognitivas y epistemológicas de nociones matemáticas previas.We study some semiotic conflicts linked to the process of visualising irrational numbers with 14-15 year-olds secondary education students and mathematics teachers in initial formation, through the ontological and semiotic approach of mathematical knowledge and instruction. It is observed a phenomenon of ostensive mimicry associated to the search for periodicity and numerical aperiodicity, of some real numbers expressed in decimal notation. This phenomenon is due to normative (didactic contract), cognitive and epistemological questions of previous mathematical notions
