    The Effect of Cooperative Learning Model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) Type on Student Motivation and Learning Outcomes on Science of the Fifth Grade Students of SDN 15 Palu

    The study of the effect of cooperative learning model two stay two stray types on motivation and learning outcomes of the fifth-grade students of SDN15 Palu was carried out from March to June 2018. This study used quasi-experimental methods. The research design used the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and test results. The data analysis technique used the t-test inferential statistical method. The study population was fifth-grade students of SDN15 Palu. The sample of the research was Va class with as many as 29 people as the experimental group and Vb class with 28 people as the control group, which was determined by purposive sampling technique. The independent variable in this study was the TSTS model, while the dependent variable was a motivation and learning outcomes. Based on hypothesis testing with two-party t-test statistics obtained students learning motivation with t count was higher than t table (7.876 > 2.004). Student learning outcomes obtained tcount higher than t table  (3.654 > 2.004). These results indicated that the application of cooperative learning model two stay two stray type influences the motivation and learning outcomes of the science of the fifth-grade students of SDN 15 Palu.   &nbsp

    The purpose of this research is to know the effect of the search, solve, create, and share (SSCS) learning model on critical thinking ability and student learning outcomes in science subjects. The sampling technique is purposive sample population through the experimental method, this research population is the students of class V SDN 12 Palu. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) there was the influence of learning model search, solve, create and share (SSCS) to student critical thinking ability on science subjects with human and animal organ material; 2) there was the influence of learning model of search, solve, create and share to student learning outcomes on science subjects with human and animal organ material: 3) the average gain after the posttest in the experimental class was 82.97; 4) the results of observation of teacher activity and observation of student activities can be said to be good. &nbsp

    Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD Dipadukan Media Animasi Pembelajaran Terhadap Kreatifitas dan Hasil Belajar Siswa

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dipadukan media animasi terhadap kretivitas dan hasil belajar biologi siswa kelas VII SMPN 19 Palu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasy experiment) dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest, Non-Equivqlent Control Group Design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 19 Palu dengan menggunakan dua kelas sebagai subjek penelitian yaitu kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 30 siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan STAD dipadukan media animasi, dan kelas control yang berjumlah 30 siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model konvensional. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan lembar observasi saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung dan memberikan tes hasil belajar setelah seluruh materi diajarkan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian berhasil meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dengan bukti pada pertemuan pertama jumlah siswa yang berkategori kurang lebih banyak namun pada pertemuan kedua jumlah siswa yang berkategori kurang telah berkurang jumlahnya, sedangkan jumlah berkategori baik bahkan sangat baik pada pertemuan kedua meningkat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai hasil belajar  pada kelompok eksperimen  dikategorikan baik dengan nilai rata-rata 78.7 sedangkan nilai hasil belajar pada kelompok kontrol dikategorikan cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 74.6. Kesimpulan yaitu penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dipadukan media animasi pembelajaran biologi dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa

    The Application Of Problem Based Learning Models Assisted By Instructional Videos To Improve Student Learning Outcomes On Science In Grade Iv Sdn 12 Palu

    This study aims to describe the application of problem-based learning models assisted by instructional videos to improve student learning outcomes on science in grade IV SDN 12 Palu. The method used in this research is classroom action research which consists of 4 stages; planning, implementing, observing and reflecting, with data collection techniques using evaluation tests and observation sheets. The research subjects were 24 students. The results showed an increase in student and teacher activity. Student activity shows that the percentage of scores obtained in the first cycle is 67.5% in the sufficient category, in the second cycle it shows that the percentage score is 85% in the very good category. Teacher observation activities in the first cycle showed the percentage score of 70% in the good category, in cycle II the percentage score is 90% in very good category. On the results of the analysis of the student evaluation test cycle I showed the percentage of classical learning completeness was 58%, while in cycle II the percentage of classical learning completeness was 83%

    Promoting of Thematic-based Integrated Science Learning on the Junior High School

    This study was conducted to explain the effect of thematic based integrated science learning to the student's critical thinking skills and character. One group pretest-posttest design is involving thirty students in one of the junior high school in the Palu city. A sample was taken using purposive sampling. Data of critical thinking skills obtained from pretest and posttest, whereas the characters students are collected with observation and questionnaire. The results showed critical thinking skills of students are better after following thematic-based integrated science learning with N-gain as 0.52. Ten characters of students showed good category with the lowest scores on the aspects of environmental concern. The study revealed that thematic based integrated science learning can increase of critical thinking skills and character of the seventh grade junior high school students with good category Keywords: thematic, integrated science, character, critical thinking
