Frente a la sinceridad y entrega vital de don Quijote, el Caballero de los Espejos o de la Blanca Luna nunca brillará como caballero y, menos aún, como académico graduado en las aulas salmantinas. En él se cumple el aforismo quijotesco: "muchos son los andantes, pero muy pocos los caballeros"
