Penerapan Pembelajaran Pbl untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Komunikasi Bahasa Inggris Mahasiswa di Akparta Mandala Bakti Surakarta
Mastery of foreign languages, especially English is very important for students, but a monotonous learning model making English communication competence of students cannot develop properly. Therefore, researchers are interested in using learning model Problem Based Learning (PBL) for the improvement of communication skills in English. The purpose of this study is to know how big is the influence of the PBL learning model or Problem Based Learning on improving communication competence (Communicative Competence) English students. The method of this study is descriptive qualitative with 32 samples of AKPARTA Mandala Bakti Surakarta students of 2013/2014 academic year. Based on t-test, the result of the research showed that p = 0.00 and r = 0.939 for p <0.05 then Ho is rejected, that means there is a difference between students‟ English competence before applying PBL model on teaching learning process and after applying PBL model for teaching learning process
Usefulness of bronchoalveolar lavage in suspect COVID-19 repeatedly negative swab test and interstitial lung disease
The diagnosis of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) relies on nasopharyngeal swab, which shows a 20–30% risk of false negativity [1]. Bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) is reported to be useful in patients with pulmonary interstitial infiltrates on high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT). We investigated the usefulness of BAL in symptomatic patients with positive HRCT and a repeatedly negative swab test (‘grey zone’)

Development of an integrated system for the optimization of sequencing batch reactors
This paper presents (i) a synthesis of the EOLI supervision system for optimizing both the biological reaction phases and the settling phase of Sequencing Batch Reactors (SBR) performing carbon and nitrogen removal from urban or industrial wastewaters; (ii) a summary of the integration capabilities of the integrated system developed by an industrial partner of the project to propose both the hardware and the software of the EOLI solution under a unified framework
