An Adaptive Management Plan for Whippoorwill (Caprimulgus vociferus) Habitat Restoration in Gladwin County, MI

Fragmentation and degradation of habitat can decrease certain bird populations. In Gladwin County Michigan, the Whippoorwill (Caprimulgus vociferus) is one of the declining populations. I hypothesize that habitat improvement for Whippoorwill should increase their populations. I will create an adaptive management plan to restore Whippoorwill habitat on my family\u27s property in Gladwin stay and breed. Restoration efforts should reduce the negative impacts associated with fragmentation and degradation of bird habitat
