This study aims to give an insight into international students’ perceptions of academic learning experiences. A quantitative approach was employed to gain a better understanding of international graduate students' perceptions of their academic learning experiences at Northeast Normal University. The sample comprised 87 international students, 44 Master and 43 doctoral from four schools: Education 32, Life Sciences29, Economics15 and Chemistry11. A structured questionnaire, the Dundee Ready Education Environment Measure (DREEM) served as the main instrument for quantitative data collection.Three (3) sampling techniques were used in this study: purposive sampling, stratified sampling and simple random sampling. A five-point Lickert scale (1= Strongly disagree; 2= Disagree; 3= Unsure; 4= Agree; 5= Strongly agree) was involved in the questionnaire instrument. Data was analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20.0.Findings indicate that students rate most aspects of their programs positively, although few respondents give the highest ratings, indicating that there is substantial room for improvement. International students’ majors and length of stay in China influenced perceptions about the learning environment. The use of a left ventricular assist device has increased and is a primary surgical treatment for heart failure. However, one major complication of left ventricular assist device support is an obstruction in the blood flow pathway. Pump thrombosis and outflow graft occlusion are some of the common causes of such obstructions. Here, we describe a unique case of HeartMate II (Abbott Laboratories) inflow cannula obstruction from a membranous structure without evidence of thrombus. The histology showed evidence of fibrous tissue and heart muscle tissue in the membrane. The patient underwent a successful device exchange with a HeartMate 3 (Abbott Laboratories) and is doing well

BackgroundSAR444245 (THOR-707) is a recombinant human IL-2 molecule that includes a PEG moiety irreversibly bound to a novel amino acid via click chemistry to block the alpha-binding domain while retaining near-native affinity for the beta/gamma subunits. In animal models, SAR444245 showed anti-tumor benefits, but with no severe side effects, both as single agent and when combined with anti-PD1 comparing with historical data from aldesleukin. The HAMMER trial, which is the FIH study, shows preliminary encouraging clinical results: initial efficacy and safety profile with SAR444245 monotherapy and in combination with pembrolizumab supporting non-alpha preferential activity, validating preclinical models. The Pegasus Skin Phase 1/2 study will evaluate the clinical benefit of SAR444245 in combination with cemiplimab (anti-PD1) for the treatment of participants with cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) or melanomaMethodsPegasus Skin (NCT04913220) will enroll approximately 80 participants in 2 separate cohorts. In cohort A, participants with a locally advanced, unresectable or metastatic melanoma will receive SAR444245 + cemiplimab as first line (1L) therapy. In cohort B, participants with locally advanced or metastatic CSCC who have not received moe than 2 prior lines of systemic therapy and are not candidates for curative surgery or radiation will receive SAR444245 + cemiplimab. Environmental problems caused by global warming are becoming alarming with every passing day. To curb greenhouse gas (GhG) emissions, promoting alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) and sustainable transport mode choices is critical. This study explores the predictors of eco-social purchase, use, and conservation intentions in a developing country by employing an extended model of the theory of planned behaviour (TPB). Using a self-administered survey technique, data were collected from a nationally representative sample of 1372 customers of three leading automobile manufacturers from eight big cities of Pakistan. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) was applied to test the measurement and structural models. Results showed that the extended model of TPB received support in the context of Pakistani culture and for the targeted behaviours related to eco-social purchase, use, and conservation intentions concerning AFVs. Implications for marketers and theoretical contribution are discussed at the end
