    Solving of Location-Allocation-Routing Model of Reverse Supply Chain for End-of-Life Vehicles Considering Sustainability Dimensions Under Uncertainty Conditions

    Abstract In recent years, the concept of reverse logistics has been paid attention by many researchers due to the importance of environmental laws as well as the importance of utilizing from worn-out goods for re-production. In the process of reverse logistics, a systematic manufacturer accepts items such as recycling, reproduction and land filling for products that reach the endpoint of consumption. It is very necessary to address the issue of reverse logistics network and its effective management and guidance. According to the studies, taking into account the uncertainty conditions is one of the most effective factors of modeling reverse logistics network. In reverse logistics, parameters such as capacity of centers, demand, cost and quality are uncertain. With considering the above mentioned issues, the purpose of present study was to develop a mixed fuzzy integer linear planning model for reverse logistics network of EOL vehicles in order to minimize the cost of establishing and constructing facilities, as well as minimizing transportation and material costs between facilities, minimizing environmental impacts, and maximizing social responsibility with taking into account the uncertainty conditions and the multi-product mode. Due to the NP-HARD nature of understudy problem, the Whale optimization algorithm (WOA) and NSGA-II algorithm were used to solve the model, which results of these two modes were comprised based on quality indicators, dispersion and uniformity and solution time of problem

    Groundwater Level Forecasting Using Wavelet and Kriging

    In this research, a hybrid wavelet-artificial neural network (WANN) and a geostatistical method were proposed for spatiotemporal prediction of the groundwater level (GWL) for one month ahead. For this purpose, monthly observed time series of GWL were collected from September 2005 to April 2014 in 10 piezometers around Mashhad City in the Northeast of Iran. In temporal forecasting, an artificial neural network (ANN) and a WANN were trained for each piezometer. Kriging was used in spatial estimations. The comparison of the prediction accuracy of these two models illustrated that the WANN was more efficacious in prediction of GWL for one month ahead. Thereafter, in order to predict GWL in desired points in the study area, the kriging method was used and a Gaussian model was selected as the best variogram model. Ultimately, the WANN with coefficient of determination and root mean square error and mean absolute error, 0.836 and 0.335 and 0.273 respectively, in temporal forecasting and Gaussian model with root mean square, 0.253 as the best fitted model on Kriging method for spatial estimating were suitable choices for spatiotemporal GWL forecasting. The obtained map of groundwater level showed that the groundwater level was higher in the areas of plain located in mountainside areas. This fact can show that outcomes are respectively correct

    Application of Balanced Scorecard (BSC) in Evaluating the Performance of Health Care Providers: A Review

    Background: As a comprehensive approach to assessing the performance of hospitals, Balanced Scorecard methodology is a tool to transform the organization's mission into concrete measurable objectives, activities and performance. Methodology: The present study is a systematic review conducted via searching in different sites, such as: Magiran, Irandoc, Google Scholar, Iranmedex. Several studies on the balanced scorecard have been done in different organization. In this study, we chose the articles aiming to assess the health care and hospital using BSC. Then their subjects were compared with the present study, and then the related studies were briefly mentioned. Finding: Based on the results of studies in this area, the main purpose of using the balanced scorecard can be used in studies such as the ability to update the strategy, the establishment of the strategy throughout the organization, coordination unit and individual goals of the strategy, linking strategic objectives to long-term goals and annual budget through performance measures, assessment of performance for learning and improvement strategies. Results: The results of this study showed that combining models is a way for assessing function and increasing the satisfaction and commitment. And the balanced scorecard is recommended as a model that can help increase efficiency and better evaluation of the performance

    A 10-month-old female presented with severe progressive wedge-shaped thickening and discoloration of all twenty nails. Further evaluations revealed palmoplantar keratoderma along with recurrent acral blisters causing residual crusted ulcers which were present during the past six months. Other findings included scalp kinky hair and dental caries. Past medical and family history had remarkable findings such as natal teeth and similar skin lesions in her older brother since his infancy. The patients′ clinical presentations and history are compatible with pachyonychia congenita presenting with concomitant features of both subtypes 1 and 2
