Effectiveness of Indonesian Essential Oil Mixture of Lemongrass, Cananga, and Patchouli in Relaxation Through Inhalation: a Clinical Test on Healthy Woman with High Potential for Stress
Relaxation is one of many mechanisms for coping with stress. One of the most widely used methods for relaxation is aromatherapy with the application of essential oils. Known for their therapeutic benefits, essential oils can be extracted from various Indonesian native herbs such as lemongrass (sereh wangi or Cymbopogon winterianus), cananga or ylang-ylang (kenanga or Canarium odoratum), and patchouli (nilam or Pogostemon cabin). This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a mixture of Indonesian essential oil made of lemongrass, cananga, and patchouli extracts. Experiment was conducted by asking a number of subjects to inhale the oil mixture and assessing its effectiveness in terms of psychological relaxation by using Visual Analog Scale or VAS) and of physical relaxation by examining the subjects’ blood pressure (MAP), pulse frequency, and breathing frequency. The result was then compared with that of lavender oil and with the control group. The study was conducted on 60 healthy women through single-blind clinical trials (before and after) using the “intent to treat” approach, followed by a startle test. Participants were divided into three groups: (1) 20 participants who were treated with Indonesian essential oil mixture, (2) 20 participants who were treated with lavender oil, and (3) 20 participants who served as the control group. Psychological relaxation measurement showed that Indonesian essential oil mixture produced the same degree of effectiveness as lavender oil and the control groups did, although both treatments tended to produce better results than the control group did. However, physical relaxation measurement showed that Indonesian essential oil mixture produced a higher degree of effectiveness than lavender oil and tended to produce a better result than the control group did, especially in terms of blood pressure based on MAP scores.
Sensitivity Analysis of Transportation Production Costs in Indonesia
The transportation production cost (TPC) considerably has strong influence to the national economic condition. This paper focused on the analysis of the transportation production cost sensitivity in relation to the variation of the external affecting factor, which are fuel price, rupiah exchange rate and Bank of Indonesia interest rate. Based on the R2 values, the TPC components in general have significant correlation, with the fuel prices. However, they do not have high correlation to the fluctuation of interest rate and rupiah exchange rate. The sensitivity analysis shows that a 10% rise on fuel price would cause 6%, 2%, 7%, 2.4%, and 4.9% rise on the TPC of intercity bus, ferry ship, interisland ship, train, and airline, respectively
Analisis Pengaruh Iklan Televisi Terhadap Purchase Intention Produk Honda Beat Esp Dengan Endorser Sebagai Variabel Moderating
This study discusses the influence of advertising that affect in purchase intention on the Honda Beat ESP with the endorser as an moderating variable. This research using quantitative research methods with the causal approach. There are four variables studied, including television ads as an independent variable, purchase intention is the dependent variable. And endorser as an intervening variable. The method used is using path analysis with SmartPLS 3.2 tools. Sample size was 100 respondents were at least 2x already watch ads Honda Beat ESP and respondents who have purchased a Honda Beat
The Roles of Green Perceived Value, Green Perceived Risk, and Green Trust Towards Green Purchase Intention of Inverter Air Conditioner in Surabaya
Environmental degradation keeps increasing every year and global warming is one of the environmental degradations that we need to face right now. The fact is air conditioner is one of the main causes of global warming. This research is done to know the impact of green perceived value and green perceived risk towards green purchase intention of inverter air conditioner in Surabaya, through the mediation of green trust. In this research, there are two independent variables and one dependent variable involved. The independent variables are green perceived value and green perceived risk, while the dependent variable green purchase intention. In this research, there are 250 questionnaires distributed with clustered sampling method system. The analysis technique used in this research is structural equation modelling (SEM), supported with SPSS and AMOS as a tools for data analysis. The research result indicates that green perceived value will have a positive significant impact towards green purchase intention of low watt inverter air conditioner in Surabaya partially mediated by green trust. Furthermore, green perceived risk will have a negative significant impact towards green purchase intention of inverter air conditioner in Surabaya fully mediated by green trust
The Influence of Technology 4.0 on the Religious Behavior of the Millennial Generation as an Agent of Conservation with an Authentic Learning Model Amidst the Covid 19 Pandemic
The research aims to analyze influence of technology 4.0 with Authentic Learning model to strengthen foundations of spirituality and morals of integrated millennial generation religious life so that they can act as conservative agents who have an identity in responding to globalization amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of research is field research with method of qualitative analysis to obtain data relevant to research topic. Primary data in the study were collected by distributing questionnaires through online media in form of Google forms and offline to respondents. Sampling technique in a non-probability way uses snowball sampling technique. Number of samples is 400 respondents with millennial generation criteria with an age range of 17 to 35 years in Banyumas Regency, consideration that Banyumas Regency is one of student cities in Central Java Province. Based on data from Central Bureau of Statistics for Banyumas Regency, there are 11 tertiary institutions in Purwokerto spread over four sub-districts, namely East Purwokerto, South Purwokerto, West Purwokerto, and North Purwokerto. The test results show that significance value is 0.000 <0.05; thus, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected, and H1 means that there is an influence of Technology 4.0 (X1) on the Religious Behavior of Millennial Generation as an Agent of Conservation (Y). The R Square value from the results of moderating variable regression test shows 0.727 or 72.7%, so it can be concluded that H2 is accepted and H3 is rejected; namely, Authentic Learning variable can strengthen effect of Technology 4.0 variable on Millennial Generation's Religious Life Behavior variable as an Agent of Conservation
