Entanglement of light-shift compensated atomic spin waves with telecom light

Entanglement of a 795 nm light polarization qubit and an atomic Rb spin wave qubit for a storage time of 0.1 s is observed by measuring the violation of Bell's inequality (S = 2.65 \pm 0.12). Long qubit storage times are achieved by pinning the spin wave in a 1064 nm wavelength optical lattice, with a magic-valued magnetic field superposed to eliminate lattice-induced dephasing. Four-wave mixing in a cold Rb gas is employed to perform light qubit conversion between near infra red (795 nm) and telecom (1367 nm) wavelengths, and after propagation in a telecom fiber, to invert the conversion process. Observed Bell inequality violation (S = 2.66 \pm 0.09), at 10 ms storage, confirms preservation of memory/light entanglement through the two stages of light qubit frequency conversion.Comment: 5 pages, 3 figure

We carried out comparative analysis of the results of microbiological researches and antibiotic resistance of main pathogens of nosocomial infections from 2005 to 2010 years. During this period quota of MRSE (65—74 %), MRSA (22,7—35 %) is stably high and. especially quota of producers of different β-lactamases among other Enterobacteriaceae pathogens (3,2—65 %) increased that caused, significant expenses for antibiotic therapy by carbapenems (22,7—40 %), glycopeptides (2,7—10 %). Monitoring of tendencies of resistance of the most important pathogens of hospital infections optimication of antimicrobial therapy and introduction, of the system of preventive measures allowed, to decrease economic expenses for antimicrobial means to 17,5 %

Objective: to study orgasmic function (OF) in patients undergoing radical prostatectomy (RPE).Subjects and methods. Seventy-nine patients who had undergone RPE for locally advanced prostate cancer without hormone and radiation therapies were examined. The patients’ mean age was 59.3 years. The mean EF-IIEF domain score was 24.4. OF was estimated by IIEF question 10 and the authors’ questionnaire. The Spearman rank correction coefficient and Mann-Whitney U-Wilcoxon tests were used.Results. After RPE, there was a reduction in the mean IIEF question 10 score from 3.9 (confidence interval 3.7–4.1) to 3.3 (3–3.5) (p = 0.000). The following changes were found in orgasm intensity: no changes in 43 %, mild worsening in 42 %, severe worsening in 8 %, and enhancement in 4 %; orgasm could not be achieved in 4 % of the patients. Pain usually of low intensity was reported by 8.8 %. The poor factors for preserving OF were its low baseline level, elderly age, or severe post-RPE erectile dysfunction.Conclusion. There were significant OF changes after RPE, which should be kept in mind while treating this category of patients.

Clinical practice and content analysis of scientifi c literature indicate that for treatment of the immune-infl amatory disease called juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA), the use of only basic medicines (BM) is not suffi cient. The aim of the study is the organization of pharmacotherapy of JRA patients by genetically engineered biological preparations (GEBP), affecting the immune processes of the body directly.Materials and methods: the theory of marketing, content analysis, the ABC-analysis, sociological survey, pharmacoeconomic methods. Results and discussion. Depending on the individual characteristics of patients, the clinical picture of the disease can manifest itself in different ways, which requires justifi cation of the necessary schemes of GEBP pharmacotherapy at each stage of the carried out treatment. In the course of studying the organization of pharmaceutical assistance at the inpatient stage, we carried out a content analysis of 175 medical records of the patients (aged 2–17 years old) of the cardiologic department of Irkutsk State Children’s Clinical Hospital, in the dynamics of a few years (2015–2017), and the expert assessment of the degree of GEBP demand was carried out by the doctors. The analysis of the pharmacotherapy has shown that GEBP is used as monotherapy in patients with intolerance to basic medicines or to combinations with basic medicines. It is irrational to start the GIBP treatment immediately because of possible side effects and their high cost. According to the content analysis of the reports of the regional Ministry of Health on preferential drug provision of handicapped children, both in hospital and at outpatient treatment stage, the pharmacotherapy schemes including Adalimumab, Abatacept, Infl iximab, Tocilizumab, Etanercept are most in demand.Conclusion. The study of the organization of GEBP pharmacotherapy, the expert assessment carried out by the doctors, the results of the marketing analysis of the regional pharmaceutical market made it possible to substantiate and propose a rational assortment portfolio of this group of medicines for treatment of various JRA options, taking into account the price component in the Irkutsk region. The obtained results can be used for the formation of the medicinal budget of medical organizations in the region
