The border street of Tanjung Niur-Sepucuk was a street in Kecamatan Pedamaran Timur of Pulau Geronggong Vilalage. This street have the important things to improve the grew of economy in around of the village, also to increase people life in all of the parts. In this final report, the writer do the re-planning. How the best way in the planning geomatric design, the harden flexible contruction, the classify of street, and the calculation of cost in Tanjung Niur-Sepucuk untill the street can bring the peaceful, comfortable and reachable for the customer. In the planning of geomatric design street, the guidance there are the calculation alinyemen horizontal, alinyemen vertical, classify of street, and what the harden was used. Based on the calculation above, found that Tanjung Niur-Sepucuk was in the classify II B with the planning speed 60km/jam, there are 2 band 2 coloumn where the width of street 2x3 m and the width of street shoulder. In this street was use 5 curve with thick harden, covering layer of the street was where width 13,72 cm, the over covering layer the street was use the fration stone classify A with the thick 20 cm, mean while the unde covering layer of the street was use Sirtu classify B with the thick 25cm. Developing this street was done in 72 days with the total cost Rp17.840.000.000,00 (Seventeen Billion Eight Hundred and Fourty Million Rupiah)

Measurement resources for dissemination and implementation research in health

BACKGROUND: A 2-day consensus working meeting, hosted by the United States National Institutes of Health and the Veterans Administration, focused on issues related to dissemination and implementation (D&I) research in measurement and reporting. Meeting participants included 23 researchers, practitioners, and decision makers from the USA and Canada who concluded that the field would greatly benefit from measurement resources to enhance the ease, harmonization, and rigor of D&I evaluation efforts. This paper describes the findings from an environmental scan and literature review of resources for D&I measures. FINDINGS: We identified a total of 17 resources, including four web-based repositories and 12 static reviews or tools that attempted to synthesize and evaluate existing measures for D&I research. Thirteen resources came from the health discipline, and 11 were populated from database reviews. Ten focused on quantitative measures, and all were generated as a resource for researchers. Fourteen were organized according to an established D&I theory or framework, with the number of constructs and measures ranging from 1 to more than 450. Measure metadata was quite variable with only six providing information on the psychometric properties of measures. CONCLUSIONS: Additional guidance on the development and use of measures are needed. A number of approaches, resources, and critical areas for future work are discussed. Researchers and stakeholders are encouraged to take advantage of a number of funding mechanisms supporting this type of work. Analyzing the Real-World Security of the Algorand Blockchain

The Algorand consensus protocol is interesting both in theory and in practice. On the theoretical side, to achieve adaptive security, it introduces the novel idea of player replaceability, where each step of the protocol is executed by a different randomly selected committee whose members remain secret until they send their first and only message. The protocol provides consistency under arbitrary network conditions and liveness under intermittent network partitions. On the practical side, the protocol is used to secure the Algorand cryptocurrency, whose total value is approximately $850M at the time of writing. The Algorand protocol in use differs substantially from the protocols described in the published literature on Algorand. Despite its significance, it lacks a formal analysis. In this work, we describe and analyze the Algorand consensus protocol as deployed today in Algorand’s ecosystem. We show that the overall protocol framework is sound by characterizing network conditions and parameter settings under which the protocol can be proven secure

Why Are Regulations Changed? A Parcel Analysis of Upzoning in Los Angeles

    Get PDF
Planners, officials, and neighborhood groups often debate zoning changes, yet there is little empirical evidence explaining why zoning and other land use regulations are changed. I use logistic regression models to examine density-enabling rezoning (“upzoning”) in Los Angeles. I find that upzoning occurs where there are development opportunities combined with limited political resistance. Upzoning is most likely on well-located parcels zoned for low-intensity, nonresidential uses. Meanwhile, homeowners—and particularly homeowners with access to valuable amenities—are associated with regulatory stasis. I conclude by recommending strategies for addressing homeowners’ concerns about higher density housing

Impact of timing of stem cell return following high dose melphalan in multiple myeloma patients with renal impairment: a single center experience

    Get PDF
High dose melphalan (HDM) followed by autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) remains the standard consolidation in transplant eligible multiple myeloma (MM) patients. The timing between HDM administration and hematopoietic stem cell return (HSCR) varies among institutions, with a 'rest period' of 48 hours (h) employed by some for patients with renal impairment (RI). We investigated the differences in hematopoietic recovery and HDM toxicity between MM patients with RI who had HSCR after 24 vs 48 h from HDM. Fifty MM patients with RI (48 h group; n = 31 and 24 h group; n = 19) were included. No statistically significant differences were noted in surrogates for hematopoietic recovery and HDM toxicity between both groups. Only one death occurred in the 24 h group. No patients required renal replacement therapy. Therefore, a 24 h period between HDM and AHSC infusion appears safe for MM patients with RI
