    USE OF AN INFORMATIONAL SYSTEM FOR MODELING AND SIMULATION CONCERNING THE PROGNOSIS OF ELECTRIC POWER

    The management of the electric power process in modern hydroelectric power plants implicate the intense use of the information technology, both for the activities performed in actual time and also for the ones performed outside the actual time. Now, when discussing about the problem concerning the development of hydroelectric potential, in the same time with the optimization of production process, it is necessary to assist the manufacturer�s decision in choosing those production capacities able to cover the electric power consume which has important variations in time. Concerning the production of electric power, its defining particularity that it can not be deposited, also imposes that the prognosis of electric power to be as precise as possible.     The implementation of sustainable development in Romania and the abrupt increase of prices for fussil fuels have imposed more serious activies for the examination of the energy consumption in different industrial sectors. Here, the asynchronous electric motors represent the main loads; therefore the energy consumption in electrical drives has to be careffuly watched. The achievement of various procedures to improve energy efficiency, compulsory imposes an energy balance who aims to illustrate the existent profile of energy consumption .     Mathematical Modeling of Feed Rations Using Solver Software

    Animal nutrition is a very large area of study where mathematical modeling is a success, as in many areas. In addition to shaping the main physiological processes underlying the farm animals yielding, the objective function optimization issue (i.e. total expenditure on fodder) arises both in terms of protein and vitamin's intake of nutrients and in terms of their cost. Optimising feed rations through mathematical modeling monitors the amount of food an animal needs throughout the day, so that the objective function (also called goal function of efficiency function) be minimum or maximum depending on the problem requirements. In order to solve mathematical model one needs fodder varieties that are part of the fodder basis and this feed (in kg) must be purchased or produced, and the solving method we use is the Solver tool of Microsoft Office Excel software . In order to optimize the objective function one should observe the following restrictions concerning the provisioning of total feed expressed in nutrients: provisioning of the necessary fodder by groups of fodder, observing proportions in fodder structure by groups of fodder, complying with fodder plants culture technologies and taking into account the availability of land designated for the forage and fodder crops. The mathematical model consists of three parts: the system of restrictions, non-negativity conditions and objective function. This paper shows the effectiveness of the Solver IT tools solver in dealing with many linear programming issues, including the establishment of feed rations as ensuring a good and well balanced food in terms of nutrition ensures both a good maintenance of the animals and an increased production

    The perspective of diagnosis and treatment of the breast carcinoma in situ

    USMF „Nicolae Testemiţanu”, Institutul Oncologic din Republica MoldovaCarcinoma in situ represents a breast lesion that is diagnosed with increasing frequency, mainly due to the wide use of sreening mammography. Management options include mastectomy, local excision combined with radiation therapy, and local excision alone. Given that carcinoma in situ is a heterogeneous group of lesions rather than a single entity, and because patients have a wide variety of personal needs that must be addressed during treatment selection, it is obvious that no single approach will be appropriate for all forms of carcinoma in situ or for all patients. Carcinomul in situ mamar este o maladie, care se depistează tot mai frecvent datorită efectuării pe larg al screeningului mamografic,examenului USG şi RMN. Cu părere de rău carcinomul in situ este depistst în RM doar în 2-2,2%, pe când cazurile avansate ( stadiile III şi IV ) alcătuesc 49%. În studiu este prezentată analiza a 52 cazuri de carcinom mamar neinvaziv în plan de diagnostic şi tratament. Cu toate că au fost aplicate diferite metode de tratament, supraveţuirea la 5 ani a fost de 100%, cea ce este în favoarea operaţiilor conservatoare de organ. Totuşi cele 2% de recidive locale demonstrează necesitatea selectării foarte prudente a modalităţii de tratament. În plan de depistare a formelor precoce a carcinomului mamar este o necesitate majoră implimentarea metodelor contemporane de examen imagistic care permit depistarea carcinomului mamar in situ în 20-40% cazuri

    USMF N. Testemițanu, IMSP Institutul OncologicScopul lucrării: estimarea sensibilității de diagnostic a metodelor imagistice în carcinomul mamar neinvaziv (CIS). Materiale și metode. Pentru atingerea scopului și a obiectivelor investigațiilor studiului, am selectat riguros un lot de paciente în număr de 117, cu formațiuni tumorale mamare, inclusiv 57 de paciente cu cancer mamar in situ și 60 cu cancer mamar invaziv, examinând fișele medicale și iconografia imagistică, acestea fiind internate și tratate în Institutul Oncologic, în perioada 2000-2010. Rezultate. Carcinomul neinvaziv mamar este o maladie care se depistează tot mai frecvent, datorită efectuării pe larg al screeningului mamografic. Depistat la această etapă de dezvoltare, poate fi tratat cu vindecare practic în 100% cazuri. Diagnosticul clinic al carcinomului in situ (CIS) prezintă foarte mari dificultăți, dar în ultimii ani, datorită efectuării screeningului mamografic, IRM, USG au permis creșterea frecvenței depistării CIS. Depistarea mamografică timpurie a microcancerelor va fi dificilă și din cauza existenței unei densități sporite a țesutului performant, se cere o atenție sporită a specialistului în domeniu, precum și interpretarea repetată a imaginii. Examenul prin USG a demonstrat o sensibilitate comparativ mică – 17,4%. Mamografia este cu mult mai informativă, sensibilitatea constituind 32,7%. Examenul prin metode imagistice moderne, TC și IRM, a demonstrat o sensibilitate de 62,3%. Clinic s-au stabilit simptomele: eliminări sangvine din mamelon, prezente în 14,1% cazuri, indrații – în 45,7% cazuri și tumoră palpabilă – în 12,2 % cazuri. Concluzii. Depistarea și tratamentul carcinomului glandei mamare la etapa in situ garantează vindecarea pacientelor practic în 100% cazuri, utilizând metodele contemporane de diagnostic și tratament, care obligă medicul să-și perfecționeze cunoștințele, în vederea interpretării corecte a tabloului clinicoimagistic. Examenul imagistic cu aparate de înaltă rezoluție permite de a diagnostica carcinomul in situ, determinând volumul operației preoperatoriu și combinând-o, în caz de necesitate, cu radioterapie și chimioterapie
