Acute otitis media (AOM) is one of the most common childhood infectious diseases. The Author addresses the problem of identifying the criteria to determine the jurisdic-tion in air transportation and in package travel, pointing out how it represents one of the most relevant issues for effective protection. The review of the reference regulation highlights the different choices adopted by the leg-islator in the two sectors analyzed (for the passenger of air transportation and for the consum-er purchaser of package travel) and a difficult connection between sources of law.
