This paper aims to explore three predictors of Theory Planned Behaviour (attitude, subjective norm and Perceived Behaviors Control) towards the knowledge sharing behavior. Knowledge sharing behavior has become a major issue and is commonly highlighted in the study of knowledge management. Researchers have given serious attention to identify the determinants of knowledge sharing behavior. Employees have to be motivated to share their knowledge and experience in the workplace. In order to influence knowledge sharing behavior among employees, organizations need to understand the tools that drive employees to share their knowledge willingly with others. This paper discusses three predictors of Theory Planned Behavior which have significantly influenced knowledge sharing behavior. A questionnaire survey was administered to the selected group of employees from tourism and hospitality industries in Cyberjaya Malaysia. The 207 employees were participating in this research study. The instrument was adapted from previous study. The result reveals that an absence of attitude is not significantly related to knowledge sharing behavior. However, subjective norms and perceived behavior control relate significantly. This study implies that changes of attitude in individual promote and encourage knowledge sharing behavior positively. The findings of this study proposed to the organization to influence employee to embed the knowledge sharing culture to the employee. The organization needs to change the attitude of employee in term of willingness of them to share knowledge with co-workers. The possibilities of this circumstance happen because of lack awareness of knowledge sharing benefits, lack of rewards and recognition to their contribution and competition among themselves which need to do further study

This research aims to make environmental awareness and action an intrinsic part of life at school. This should include the students, teachers, non-teaching staff, and parents, as well as the Local Authority, the media, and local business. Green education endeavors to extend learning beyond the classroom and develop responsible attitudes and commitment. Schools consume enormous quantities of paper and energy, produce tons of waste and carbon emissions, and rarely purchase environmentally friendly products. Schools use cleaners and pesticides with neurological and reproductive toxins, which are dangerous. Poor indoor air quality and nutrition at school are linked to soaring asthma and childhood obesity rates. Research now shows that greener, sustainable school environments can save money and resources, expand learning, and improve health. And ultimately, sustainable schools teach children to become good environmental citizens and will empower them to make a difference in the environment.

Personalized Recommendation Classification Model of Students’ Social Well-being Based on Personality Trait Determinants Using Machine Learning Algorithms

The global trend of student social well-being has steadily declined in recent years. As a result, the need for a personalized recommendation classification model that can accurately assess and identify the individual student’s social well-being has become increasingly important. This article will discuss the development of an adaptive personalized recommendation classification model for students’ social well-being based on personality trait determinants. Social well-being is a field that analyses society, individual behavioural patterns, behavioural networks, and cultural elements of daily life. Social well-being develops critical thinking by understanding the social frameworks that affect humans by exposing the social basis of daily actions. For instance, when students are pleased, their academic achievement, behaviour, social integration, and happiness improve. This study classifies the effects of the Big 5 Personality Traits (Extraversion, Openness, Agreeableness, Emotional Stability, and Conscientiousness) on students’ Industry 4.0 Social Well-being levels by analyzing their demographic and personality traits. A dataset was gathered through a survey distributed to students in a selected institution. The classifier’s accuracy was assessed using the WEKA tool on a data set of 286 occurrences and 19 traits, and a confusion matrix was constructed. After analyzing the results of all algorithms, it was determined that the IBk and Randomizable Filtered Classifier algorithms give the best accuracy on social well-being readiness, with a comparable percentage value of 91.26%. The agreeableness personality trait, which represents a person’s level of pleasantness, politeness, and helpfulness, had the greatest influence on the social well-being of the students. They have a positive outlook on human behaviour and get along well with others. Since social well-being contributes to a person’s increased quality of life and happiness, improving students’ current quality of life would lead to the development of a social parameter that can assess the growth of a country and the increased happiness of families and communities. Personality traits models have become an increasingly important tool for understanding and predicting human behavior. By analyzing different personality trait models, we can gain insights into how accurately and reliably they can predict individual behavior. This is especially useful in fields such as psychology, marketing, and recruitment, where understanding the nuances of individual personalities can be critical to success. In this study, how different personality trait models compare in terms of accuracy and reliability is explored using different machine learning algorithms using the WEKA tool. Personality trait models are increasingly being used to measure social well-being. This model is based on the idea that individuals’ personalities are composed of a set of underlying traits which can be measured and compared. By understanding these traits, we can better understand the students’ social well-being and how the environment around them may impact it

Telecommuting and Employee Productivity: Mediating Role of Work-Family Conflict and Autonomy

    No full text
A flexible work arrangement known as telecommuting enables employees to work remotely from their homes or other locations. Telecommuting work arrangements demonstrate that work is no longer a place but rather what you do, and this new working model is expected to persist and become more popular. Even with inevitable quibbles, their similarities outweigh their differences and provide more benefits to both firms and employees. Despite its significance, the implementation of telecommuting has caused some firms to question how effective their employees are at work. Here, the researchers use two mediating variables to identify the association and interactions of autonomy and work-family conflict with employee productivity. This study used a quantitative research design, convenience sampling technique, and sample size of 155, and data were analyzed with Smart PLS. The key inside this paper is indicated that autonomy mediates and has a crucial influence on employee productivity. The telecommuters were to have more control over their schedules, making it easier to balance work and personal obligations and possibly reducing stress and improving work-life balance, which contributes to better performance

A Social Innovation Model for Sustainable Development: A Case Study of a Malaysian Entrepreneur Cooperative (KOKULAC)

    No full text
In Malaysia, social innovation programs are fully supported by the government. However, reports and findings on the related matter have yet to be comprehensively collected due to the current interest. Therefore, the aim of this paper was to provide a better insight and understanding on how social innovation projects could assist in achieving the SDG agenda. Since social innovation is emerging and has just recently been embraced in Malaysia, we present the study as a case based on an entrepreneur cooperative, named KOKULAC, with a grounded theory analysis as a core approach. The findings suggest that there are five sustainability development goals that are very closely related to KOKULAC’s agenda. These goals are no poverty, zero hunger, decent work and economic growth, responsible consumption and production, and partnership for the goals. In addition, the case also presented how the values of sustainable development spur greater social benefits of shared prosperity. We conclude that the proposed model contributes to the expansion of innovation capability theory by shaping the innovations within the scope of social needs, which could be applied in other settings. For future research, we recommend a higher integration between the social innovation model and dynamic capabilities of the networking structures
