    The Application of Landsat TM Data and SRTM Data for Detection Vulnerability Assessment of Flood in Bengawan Solo Watershed

    Bengawan Solo watershed is one of watershed that has frequent floods. Due to high rainfall in the rainy season, the river can't accommodate the surface runoff and resulted flooding around the area. The high rainfall is not only causing flood in some areas upstream watershed, but also threaten the downstream areas in East Java province, especially Bojonegoro, Lamongan, Tuban and Gresik. Data of remote sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS) could detect assessment vulnerability of flooding. The research objective is to study flood vulnerability assessment in Bengawan Solo watershed using remote sensing data. The method is the combination of information from remote sensing data, i.e.. (1) to combine band 4 with band 7 Landsat TM in which the flood pixel value is ≤ 78; (2) to detect flow accumulation using SRTM data; and (3) to detect flooding areas at the altitude of 0-50 m. The result obtained from the study is the flood vulnerability in Bengawan Solo watershed including Sragen District (Masaran, Plupuh, Gesi, Sidoharjo Sub District); Ngawi (Widodaren, Kedungalar, Pitu SubDistrict); Tuban District (Rengel, Plumpang, Widang Sub District); Bojonegoro (Padangan, Malo, Kalitidu, Trucuk, Bojonegoro,Dander, Kanor, Baureno, Sumberejo Sub District); Lamongan (Laren, Solokuro, Karanggeneng, Kalitengah Sub District); Gresik Regency (Hamlet and Bungah Sub District)

    Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Kognitif dan Minat Belajar Siswa Menggunakan Modul Berbasis Scientific Approach Kelas VII C SMP Negeri 4 Surakarta

    The objectives of this research are: (1) to improve the students\u27 cognitif competence of 7th grade students of SMPN 4 Surakarta in the second semester, 2014/2015 academic year particulary in temperature, heat and heat transfer material by using scientific approach-based modul, and (2) to improve the learning interest.This Classroom Action Research (CAR) adopts Kurt Lewin model. It was conducted collaboratively between the researcher and the teacher within two cycles. Each cycle began with preparation stage then followed by implementation of using the modul within the cycle stage which covers planning, action, observing, and reflection stage. The subject of the research was 33 students at the 7th grade in SMPN 4 Surakarta in the 2014/2015 academic year. The research was particularly conducted to teach temperature, heat and heat transfer material. The data were collected through observation, interview with teacher and students, post test, questionnaire, and document analysis. The data were validated through triangulation technique. The data analysis employed used qualitative and quantitative technique.The finding of this research shows that: (1) The students\u27 cognitive competence improved as much as 2,73% surpassing the expected target. The number of students who met the passing grade was 72,73%, with the passing score of 86. (2) the students\u27s learning interest also improved as much as 2,5% surpassing the expected target. The aspects of learning interest that became the focus of this research improved such as: (1) the willingness which improved to 82,89%, (2) the attention which improved to 76,08%, (3) and the participation which improved to 78,57%

    Pengembangan Media Promosi Produk Kerupuk Singkong Berbasis E-commerce

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk berupa media promosi website e-commerce dan penerapan kelima fase model pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan subjek kelompok wirausaha yang ada di kota Batu dengan produk kerupuk singkong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya website media promosi, konsumen yang semula belum mengenal produk kerupuk singkong menjadi kenal dan tertarik mencoba dan membeli produk tersebut dan bagi yang sudah mengetahui produk tersebut menjadi lebih percaya dan semakin yakin terhadap produk kerupuk singkong tersebutThe purpose of this study is to produce e-commerce promotion media via websites and application of the five phases of ADDIE research and development model. This study is research and development of the entrepreneurial group subjects in Batu with cassava crackers products. The results showed that with the promotion media via website, consumers who are not familiar with the original product cassava crackers become acquainted and interested to try and buy these products and those who already know these products is to be sure and more convinced with the cassava crackers products

    Identifikasi Kerusakan Pesisir Akibat Konversi Hutan Bakau (Mangrove) Menjadi Lahan Tambak di Kawasan Pesisir Kabupaten Cirebon

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kerusakan pesisir akibat konversi lahan bakau menjadi tambak yang kaitannya dengan Perubahan garis pantai di Kabupaten Cirebon. Metode observasi dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif terhadap faktor penurunan luasan ekosistem bakau dan sedimentasi. Data-data yang dikumpulkan yaitu energi fluks gelombang, peta karakteristik pantai dan peta sebaran bakau. Hasil dari pembobotan menunjukkan desa pantai yang termasuk kategori amat sangat diutamakan (A) adalah Gebang Kulon dan Gebang Ilir. Selanjutnya, pantai yang memiliki kategori sangat diutamakan tersebar merata hampir disetiap desa, kecuali desa Bendungan, Mundu dan Kalipasung yang kategori diutamakan (B), dan desa Tawang sari kategori kurang diutamakan (D). Kata Kunci: Identifikasi pesisir, ekosistem hutan bakau, kategori, Cirebon The study is to identify the coastal damage due to the conversion of coastal mangrove to fish ponds that is correlated with coastal changes in Cirebon regency. By using methods observation with qualitative descriptive analysis to the factor decrease the extend of mangrove ecosytems and sedimentation. Data collected are energy flux, coastal characteristic maps, and mangrove distribution map. Results of weighting indicates that coastal villages within avery high priority (A) is Gebang Kulon and Gebang Ilir. Furthermore, the beach has a high priority is spread evenly in almost every villages except Dam, Mundu, and Kalipasung villages those are in priority category (B), as well as the village of Tawang sari within a less priority category (D)

    Introduction: Plague is one of public health problem that can cause outbreak epidemic or that necessary guarded.Activity observed in humant and rodent activity in paste focus area should be done continuously to prevent outbreak.Rodent and human observation result in 2005 showed there were 11 patiens with a positive titer in the District of Selo.Examinations results in Rodent and it's flea still foud positive bacteria at serologist or bacteriology test, it's why Selo andCepogo District need to be guarded. The aimed of this research were to count the trap success rats, identifying species ofrats, identify diversity ectoparacites in mice , identify the species caught and count fleas General Flea Index on Rats, asplaque basic control efforts.Methods: A cross sectional study with collection of data using observation form and rat spot survey.Result and Discussion: Rat species found in Suroteleng Village, Selo Subdistrict, Boyolali District, were Rattus tanezumi(36.4%) and Rattus tiomanicus (27.3%) and Suncus murinus (36.4%). There were two species of ectoparacites werefound namely Stivalius cognatus and Xenopsylla cheopis. General Flea Index as much 3.36. Number more than standartof General Flea Index it mean that potential to spread disease to humans.Conclusions and Recommendations: Rat control efforts eraound the settlement needs to be improved, together withactive community participation

    Performance and Scalability Analysis of Node.js and PHP/Nginx Web Application

    Node.js is an application framework that can be used to build network server and web application. Due to its maturity, Node.js should be tested in various aspects such as performance and scalability to build dynamic web application. For comparison, we use PHP/Nginx web development stack to build web application to compare and analyze Node.js web application performance and scalability. For research purpose, we build dummy applications based on Dijkstra Algorithm to calculate shortest path between nodes, in this case Trans Jogja shelters. Using load generator, we simulate concurrent user requests to test performance and scalability of Node.js and PHP/Nginx web application. The general results of this research showed that Node.js application had higher performance and scalability than PHP/Nginx application
