    Crystal structure, electronic, and magnetic properties of the bilayered rhodium oxide Sr3Rh2O7

    The bilayered rhodium oxide Sr3Rh2O7 was synthesized by high-pressure and high-temperature heating techniques. The single-phase polycrystalline sample of Sr3Rh2O7 was characterized by measurements of magnetic susceptibility, electrical resistivity, specific heat, and thermopower. The structural characteristics were investigated by powder neutron diffraction study. The rhodium oxide Sr3Rh2O7 [Bbcb, a = 5.4744(8) A, b = 5.4716(9) A, c = 20.875(2) A] is isostructural to the metamagnetic metal Sr3Ru2O7, with five 4d electrons per Rh, which is electronically equivalent to the hypothetic bilayered ruthenium oxide, where one electron per Ru is doped into the Ru-327 unit. The present data show the rhodium oxide Sr3Rh2O7 to be metallic with enhanced paramagnetism, similar to Sr3Ru2O7. However, neither manifest contributions from spin fluctuations nor any traces of a metamagnetic transition were found within the studied range from 2 K to 390 K below 70 kOe.Comment: To be published in PR

    Research project the evaluation of creativity of the employee of manufacturing enterprises

    The article presents the course of scientific research and the methodology for assessing creativity of the staff of manufacturing enterprises. The first stage of scientific studies covers to the design of the questionnaire to measure of creative attitude workers enterprises manufacturing. The second phase of the study include: the use of the questionnaire in selected enterprises, elaborated course of the evaluation of creativity in the process of recruiting a candidate for the creative team and the evaluation of the enterprises employees, compile of an information system in terms of creativity and application called “Electronic box problems and solutions” (ESPIR). The third stage of the study involves the development of recommendations for the management of creativity of employees and analysis of the impact evaluation the creativity on the innovation in the enterprise. If we want creating an innovative enterprise, appropriate action should be taken at the stage of employees recruitment. This requires the use of technique and tools of selection, which will emerge the most creative future employees. The article had been described the proposed tools and methods supporting the creativity evaluation in the recruitment. Tool which supports assessment of creative attitude candidate is questionnaire. Sample of working the candidate had been assessed by the action research method, and by the use liquidity ratios, flexibility, originality and elaboration. In the enterprise employees evaluation system should be included the activity of the employees in the reporting of ideas and in the implementation of innovations. To assess and monitor the creativity of the enterprise employees was developed application about glance ESPIR. In this system, employees can report problems to be solved, solving the problems existing in the database system or complete suggestions for improvement, containing the problems and its solution. The main aim of developing the ESPIR application is to support the development of innovative solutions through better communication and flow of information on new ideas and improvements between employees at different levels and in different departments within the enterprise
