ЭНЕРГЕТИЧЕСКИЙ АНАЛИЗ ПРОИЗВОДСТВА ОКСИГИДРОГЕНА
In order to optimize the use of oxyhydrogen mixtures in internal combustion engines, various indices of the electrolytic cell conditions have been tested with regard to its physical parameters. Density of the current passing through the electrolyte is perceived as key indicator of effectiveness and output capacity. Experiments were staged in a variety of physical settings: under different pressure, temperature, distance between the electrodes, varying electrode square area and strength of the electrolyte solution.
Right Atrium Volume Index in Non-Severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Introduction: Right atrium volume index (RAVI) has recently been reported as a quantitative echocardiographic parameter associated with right ventricular systolic dys-function (RVSD) in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
Markers for Inflammation and Oxidative Stress in Patients with Coronary Artery Disease and Microvascular Disease – Is there a Difference?
Introduction: The clinical significance of inflammation (and markers such as resistin, hsCRP) and oxidative stress (e.g. 8-isoprostanes) for microvascular disease (MVD) and coronary artery disease (CAD) is still elusive
Chronic Necrotizing Pulmonary Aspergillosis After SARS-CoV-2 Infection – A Case Report
Aspergillosis is a fungal infection, caused by the mould Aspergillus, most commonly Aspergillus fumigatus species. Chronic pulmonary aspergillosis after SARS Cov-2 infection is a rare presentation that is commonly misdiagnosed. The prolonged corticosteroid and antibiotic application and the pro-inflammatory state in COVID-19 patients predisposes to Aspergillus infection and its chronification. Surgery plays a pivotal role in cases with unclear diagnosis, ineffective medical therapy or when complications develop. We present a case of a 73-year-old woman with chronic pulmonary aspergillosis, developed after COVID-19 pneumonia. A right lateral muscle-sparing thoracotomy, right upper lobectomy and atypical resection of the 9th and 10th segments were performed
Lightning and electrical activity during the Shiveluch volcano eruption on 16 November 2014
According to World Wide Lightning Location Network (WWLLN) data, a sequence
of lightning discharges was detected which occurred in the area of the
explosive eruption of Shiveluch volcano on 16 November 2014 in Kamchatka.
Information on the ash cloud motion was confirmed by the measurements of
atmospheric electricity, satellite observations and meteorological and seismic
data. It was concluded that WWLLN resolution is enough to detect the earlier
stage of volcanic explosive eruption when electrification processes develop
the most intensively. The lightning method has the undeniable advantage for
the fast remote sensing of volcanic electric activity anywhere in the
world. There is a good opportunity for the development of WWLLN technology
to observe explosive volcanic eruptions
