*Purpose:* To investigate the MR imaging of _Bifidobacterium longum_ and _Clostridium novyi-NT_ labeling with superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO) nanoparticles.

*Materials and methods:* Tubes containing _B. longum_-SPIO, Free-SPIO, _B. longum_ and PYG Medium were incubated under anaerobic condition in _in vitro_ experiment. Transmission electron microscope and Prussian blue staining were used to demonstrate intra-bacteria nanoparticles. R~2~^*^ mapping and R~2~ mapping were reconstructed after MR scanning. _B. longum_-SPIO and _C. novyi_-NT-SPIO were injected respectively _in vivo_ to show whether it might be traced by MR imaging.

*Results:* Magnetosomes in bacteria were observed by electron microscopic and stained by Prussian blue staining. At the same concentration of SPIOs, the R~2~^*^ value of _B. longum_-SPIO was significantly higher than that of Free-SPIO (P<0.001), however, the R~2~ value was lower comparing with Free-SPIO (P<0.001). After injection with _B. longum_-SPIO, they could present in tumor and shorten T~2~^*^.

*Conclusion:* _B. longum_ and _C. novyi_-NT could be labeled by SPIO and then traced by MRI

Reflective Full Subcategories of the Category of L

This paper focuses on the relationship between L-posets and complete L-lattices from the categorical view. By considering a special class of fuzzy closure operators, we prove that the category of complete L-lattices is a reflective full subcategory of the category of L-posets with appropriate morphisms. Moreover, we characterize the Dedekind-MacNeille completions of L-posets and provide an equivalent description for them

A novel framework for medium-term wind power prediction based on temporal attention mechanisms

Wind energy is a widely distributed, recyclable and environmentally friendly energy source that plays an important role in mitigating global warming and energy shortages. Wind energy's uncertainty and fluctuating nature makes grid integration of large-scale wind energy systems challenging. Medium-term wind power forecasts can provide an essential basis for energy dispatch, so accurate wind power forecasts are essential. Much research has yielded excellent results in recent years. However, many of them require additional experimentation and analysis when applied to other data. In this paper, we propose a novel short-term forecasting framework by tree-structured parzen estimator (TPE) and decomposition algorithms. This framework defines the TPE-VMD-TFT method for 24-h and 48-h ahead wind power forecasting based on variational mode decomposition (VMD) and time fusion transformer (TFT). In the Engie wind dataset from the electricity company in France, the results show that the proposed method significantly improves the prediction accuracy. In addition, the proposed framework can be used to other decomposition algorithms and require little manual work in model training

Learning network storage curriculum with experimental case based on embedded systems

In this paper, we present an experimental case for the course of Network Storage and Security, which benefited from an improved learning outcome for our students. The newly designed experiments-based contents are merged into the current course to help students obtain practical experiences about network storage. The experiments aim to build a network storage system based on available resources instead of any specialized network storage equipment. Technically, students can learn general practical knowledge of network storage on iSCSI (a network storage protocol based on IP technology) and also the technologies of embedded system. Through the experimental case, we found that it could fully enhance students\u27 comprehensive and practical abilities, develop students\u27 teamwork spirit and creativity, and especially improve the learning outcome of network storage curriculum. These learning and thinking methods can also be generalized and applied to other computer science related courses

Hesitant Triangular Fuzzy Information Aggregation Operators Based on Bonferroni Means and Their Application to Multiple Attribute Decision Making

    Get PDF
We investigate the multiple attribute decision-making (MADM) problems with hesitant triangular fuzzy information. Firstly, definition and some operational laws of hesitant triangular fuzzy elements are introduced. Then, we develop some hesitant triangular fuzzy aggregation operators based on Bonferroni means and discuss their basic properties. Some existing operators can be viewed as their special cases. Next, we apply the proposed operators to deal with multiple attribute decision-making problems under hesitant triangular fuzzy environment. Finally, an illustrative example is given to show the developed method and demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness

Modal Strain Based Method for Dynamic Design of Plate-Like Structures

    Get PDF
Design optimization of dynamic properties, for example, modal frequencies, can be of much importance when structures are exposed to the shock and/or vibration environments. A modal strain based method is proposed for fast design of natural frequencies of plate-like structures. The basic theory of modal strains of thin plates is reviewed. The capability of determining the highly sensitive elements by means of modal strain analysis is theoretically demonstrated. Finite element models were constructed in numerical simulations. Firstly, the application of the proposed method is conducted on a central-massed flat plate which was topologically optimized by the Reference. The results of modal strain analysis at the first mode have good agreement with the results from the topology optimization. Furthermore, some features of the strain mode shapes (SMSs) of the flat plate are investigated. Finally, the SMSs are applied to the optimization of a stiffened plate. Attention is focused on the distributions of the SMSs of the stiffeners, which also shows good agreement with the results from the topology optimization in the previous study. Several higher orders of SMSs are extracted, which can visualize the most sensitive elements to the corresponding modal frequency. In summary, both the theory and simulations validate the correctness and convenience of applying SMSs to dynamic design of plate-like structures
