    The research was background out to determine the implementation of class V mathematics learning in semester 1 online, find out the causes of learning loss in class V semester 1 students in online mathematics learning and find out the efforts made by teachers in overcoming learning loss in class V semester 1 students in online mathematics learning. Learning loss is the loss of student knowledge caused by not maximal material received by students. The method used in this study uses a descriptive qualitative method, the data obtained is then described according to the findings in the field without any control from the researcher. The participants of this study were five class V mathematics teachers and three students from each school in Tarogong Kaler sub-district. The results of this study are teachers use the lecture and assignment method during online learning, the media used by the teacher in the form of YouTube videos and source books and online student learning outcomes have decreased knowledge due to learning activities experiencing obstacles such as ineffective methods, less supportive facilities and a less conducive environment so that the material received by students is not optimal and students experience a decrease in student ability or learning loss. The efforts that teachers make to students in dealing with learning loss are by providing exercises, repeating mathematics material to the basics, conducting guidance, coordinating with parents and conducting home visit

    Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh dampak negatif pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas V dengan adanya beberapa hambatan yang dialami guru dan siswa membuat kegiatan pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara tidak efektif, sehingga siswa mengalami learning loss karena siswa tidak memahami materi secara menyeluruh yang membuat siswa kesulitan saat mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran matematika secara daring. Kegiatan penelitian ini difokuskan pada upaya guru dalam menangani learning loss pada pelajaran matematika secara daring. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika kelas V semester 1 secara daring, mengetahui penyebab terjadinya learning loss pada siswa kelas V semester 1 dalam pembelajaran matematika secara daring serta mengetahui upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam mengatasi learning loss pada siswa kelas V semester 1 dalam pembelajaran matematika secara daring. Learning loss merupakan hilangnya pengetahuan siswa yang disebabkan tidak optimalnya materi yang diterima oleh siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah lima guru kelas V sekolah dasar dan lima belas siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu terdapat beberapa hambatan yang menyebabkan timbulnya learning loss pada siswa, sedangkan upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru untuk mengatasi siswa yang mengalami learning loss pada mata pelajaran matematika yaitu dengan memberikan latihan (drill) berupa beberapa soal mengenai materi yang dianggap sulit, memberikan waktu belajar tambahan berupa penguatan materi serta bimbingan kepada siswa dengan mempelajari kembali dasar-dasar materi, meminta peran orang tua untuk memberikan bimbingan kepada siswa saat di rumah, melakukan home visit atau kunjungan pada rumah siswa. ----- The implementation of this study was backgrounded by the negative impact of online learning on class V mathematics subjects with several obstacles experienced by teachers and students making learning activities carried out ineffectively, so that students experienced learning loss because students did not understand the material thoroughly which made it difficult for students to participate in online mathematics learning activities. This research activity is focused on teachers' efforts in dealing with learning loss in online mathematics lessons. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of class V mathematics learning in semester 1 online, find out the causes of learning loss in class V semester 1 students in online mathematics learning and find out the efforts made by teachers in overcoming learning loss in class V semester 1 students in online mathematics learning. Participants in this study were five elementary school grade V teachers and fifteen elementary school grade V students. The results of this study are that there are several obstacles that cause learning loss to arise in students, while the efforts made by teachers to overcome students who experience learning loss in mathematics subjects are by providing drills in the form of several questions regarding material that are considered difficult, providing additional learning time in the form of strengthening the material and guidance to students by relearning the basics material, asking for the role of parents to provide guidance to students while at home, conducting home visits or visits at students' homes
