    The aim of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style variable and employee environment on the performance of the chocolate production of PT. Pusan Manis Mulia Tangerang. The population of this study were 400 employees of chocolate production division of PT. Pusan Manis Mulia Tangerang, slovin samples formula was used resulted 80 people for sample and the spreading using the method of Nonprobability Sampling (Purposive Sampling). Likert scale was used as measurement scale. Simple linear regression test and regression test with SPSS 15.0 program were used in the data analysis. From the results of data analysis known that in the category of Leadership Style 62.5 percent of the respondence said that it was good. Employee Environment categories 72.5 percent of the respondence said it was good. Category of employee performance most of of the respondence about 68.75 percent said it was good. Leadership Style variables affect the performance of employees by 73.2 percent. Employee Environment variable effect on employee performance by 75.3 percent. Taken together Leadership Style and Employee Environment of Employee Performance by 75.9 percent. This means the better the Leadership Style and Employee Environment is expected that the better the performance. Based on these results the management of PT. Pusan Manis Mulia Tangerang needs to consider the application of Leadership Style by head division of chocolate production.     This research is motivated young people in the city of Padang whogenerally prefer food in fast food restaurants that have differences in thepopularity of several types of fast food restaurants. Teens tend to prefer fast foodrestaurants although had to queue to order food and expensive prices. This studywas to describe the brand image of fast food restaurants for teenagers in the cityof Padang. This research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this studywere young in Padang amounted to 37 591. The sample in this study amounted to99 respondents. The sampling technique acquired through non-probabilitysampling method with purposive sampling. Deploy data collection techniquesbased on Likert Scale questionnaire. Data analysis covers: validity and reliability.Overall brand image of fast food restaurants in the average score of 140.71 in therange of 125 - 50 withvery good category, the indicator image of the product at an average of 33.34 wasthe score 31 - <37 with both categories

    Pemanfaatan Air Reject Reverse Osmosis PT Cirebon Electric Power Untuk Elektrolit Lampu Air Garam Nelayan

    Lampu air garam selama ini banyak dimanfaatkan oleh nelayan ketika melaut baiksebagai sumber penerangan maupun untuk menarik perhatian ikan. Lampu air garam inimenggunakan elektrolit seperti larutan garam dapur dan air laut. Pada penelitian ini, dilaporkanpenggunaan air reject Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) PT Cirebon Electric Power (PT CEP)sebagai elektrolit lampu air garam yang gratis dan terjaga kualitasnya seperti salinitas dan turbiditas.Studi ini merupakan bagian dari upaya PT CEP dalam kegiatan pengabdian dan pemberdayaanmasyarakat nelayan di sekitar pabrik berbasis ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Untuk membuktikansecara ilmiah, uji sel galvani dengan anoda magnesium dan katoda karbon serta elektrolit berupaberbagai larutan air garam dilakukan. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa air reject SWRO mampumenghasilkan voltase optimal hingga 1,4 Volt (sel tunggal) dibanding penggunaan air laut sebagaielektrolit yang hanya 1,2 Volt. Dari evaluasi biaya dan manfaat, penggunaan air reject SWROsebagai elektrolit lampu air garam mampu menghemat biaya nelayan dan bahkan jauh lebihekonomis jika dibandingkankan dengan penerangan konvensional menggunakan petromaks. Selainmanfaat secara ekonomi, sistem yang ditawarkan aman dan tidak menghasilkan limbah berbahaya.Studi yang dilengkapi pembuktian ilmiah ini harapannya membuka peluang pemanfaatan air rejectSWRO yang lebih luas di mana saat ini tidak banyak dimanfaatkan
